Via Lynn Bartels of the Denver paper, here’s a new ad running in the Denver market hitting GOP CD-7 candidate Joe Coors. A joint product of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and the Service Employees International Union:
From SEIU’s release:
“Joe Coors clearly doesn’t understand that Coloradans want corporations and the richest 1% to pay their fair share toward an economy that works for everyone,” said Scott Wasserman, Executive Director of Colorado WINS. “Voters need to know that Coors’ extreme plan will only benefit billionaires and millionaires like him, not the hardworking men and women who wake up every day and keep Colorado moving forward.”
Colorado Workers for Innovative and New Solutions (Colorado WINS) Local 1876 is a joint local of AFSCME, SEIU and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).
AFSCME’s “Rooster” and SEIU’s “Cock-a-Doodle-Doo,” a more than $500,000 ad buy, will run on broadcast and cable in the Denver media market.
