Reposted – my bad, accidentally deleted the original while updating. – D
This morning on AM760, I responded to 850 KOA’s Mike Rosen, and his long rant against a recent column I wrote about taxes. You can listen to Rosen’s tirade here, and my response here (it starts about a third of the way through). As you’ll hear, Rosen inadvertently proves my point about the Me-First, Screw-Everyone-Else Crowd and their double standards when it comes to taxes.
Later on in the show, I interviewed author Charles Pierce about his new book, “Idiot America,” and talked to John Flerlage, the former Marine running for the Democratic nomination to face Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO) in 2010. You can listen to the Pierce interview here, and the Flerlage interview here.
Tomorrow on the show, we’ll talk to Pulitzer Prize winner David Cay Johnston about the tax issue; Carlotta Walls LaNier about her upcoming event at the Tattered Cover; and a physician at the Denver VA about the truth – and lies – in the “death panels” controversy. Tune in between 7am and 10am on your radio dial or at www.am760.net.
