It seems to me that since Ernest Duran was honored with a lifetime achievement award by the Colorado Democratic Party within the last 2 years that many local polticians would be showing him some support.
The slate that won has family members that will assume new posts. When Mr.Duran steps down, which he will do if the conditions don’t change, he should do so with our support and thanks. Not with a smear campaign.
Perhaps the companies that own the local media are anti-labor and want to see local 7 broken. I foresee Safeway and Kroger refusing to budge at all in the current contract neogtiations with Local 7 with whomever runs the union.A strike and lockout will hurt everyone in Denver.
