A question was raised about our website, and we are happy to report that we have not disappeared.
We did, however, change our website address to better reflect our work. We are now at bellpolicy.org. Sorry for any confusion. We hope to have traffic redirected from the old URL pretty soon.
Since we’ve got you attention, we’ll add some bonus information. We are analyzing the so-called Dr. Evil initiatives, and in particular we are trying to assess the local-level impact. We want to help people understand how damaging these proposals will be for them, their neighborhoods, their towns, their counties.
One piece is the potential county-level impact from Prop 101 on ownership taxes, license fees and FASTER collections. We have analyzed 46 counties, and the goal is to do all 64 counties. Another site that offers insight on local impact for Prop 101 and Amendments 60 and 61 is LookingForwardColorado.com, a collaborative effort of the Bell, the Colorado Children’s Campaign and the Colorado Fiscal Policy Institute.
