How many times did Jimmy Carter come to Colorado in 1979-80? Just curious.
Give it a rest. If you want examples of failed presidencies, try Nixon. Serving one term as the most powerful person in the world and inspiring millions in your retirement is not my definition of “failure,” and anyone should be proud to be compared to him.
Barack Obama will be a lot like Jimmy Carter.
He’s also a lot unlike him; for instance, he’s willing to work a lot harder at being reelected. I don’t think that casts either of the two in a bad light. They have different priorities. I expect that Obama will serve two terms and be remembered by history as the level-headed negotiator who presided, if sometimes imperfectly, over a brief period of national insanity.
Cheney is at the top of my list.

that Obama hasn’t forsaken us. Does he just visit Colorado when he wants money? I feel so used.
First off politics is a contact sport and Obama had every right to get involved. You don’t have to like it but it’s not theft.
Second, Obama is not the reason Bennet won. Bennet won because he was the incumbent, he had more money, and most important, Romanoff never found a reason to vote for him that resonated with most of the primary voters.
But I make a point of not arguing with idiots.
