The Supreme Court’s ruling on President Barack Obama’s health care law is expected to be handed down this week –possibly as early as Monday.

The court battle over the law will cap a political battle that has marked the Obama Presidency.

Just how will Democrat heads explode?

Will Speaker Boehner’s expectations be met, what are they and how will his response to SCOTUS decisions be received by the Obama administration?

What will be the reaction of Obama?

The outcome here is that illegals can’t be arrested by the state nor is it a state crime for an illegal to apply for work.

By extension employers can’t be held accountable for soliciting illegals to work for them or can the state hold them liable for paying/employing them.

Of course there are probably tax consequences, but that’s another matter.

It will be interesting to see what happens to all the e-verify efforts. Do we really even need it?

Sure lazy white, black, and Asian kids haven’t wanted to do the jobs these illegals are cherry picking and the kids unemployment numbers are sky high ….. At least they can stay at home on Dad’s insurance until they’re 26, married and breeding.

You got it ace.  How is it a crime to apply for work?  Only an idiot would make that statement … (oops, forgot who we’re dealing with here).

By extension employers can’t be held accountable for soliciting illegals to work for them or can the state hold them liable for paying/employing them.

Employers can surely solicit undocumented immigrants for work (worse ways to waste money & time) but what you fail to com-pre-hend (I can type slower if yer having problems there) is that the law kicks in if & when when that employer hires an undocumented immigrant.  Got it ace.

At least they can stay at home on Dad’s insurance until they’re 26, married and breeding.

careful you don’t out yerself there …

    • is that the Supreme Court affirms that it is not a crime to be in this country without documentation.

And that it is the right of the Federal government to deport or not deport undocumented immigrants as they decide.

That is the ruling of this conservative Supreme Court.

E-Verify, as a Federal program, is still intact.  Employers are still subject to Federal and joint State-Federal actions against hiring illegal immigrants (it is still a Federal offense to do so, just as it has been for all of your lifetime…)

Oh – one more thing: Asians are the fastest growing group of immigrants.  Good to see your prejudice against Latinos coming through.

SCOTUS also struck down Montana’s suit, and reaffirmed the right of corporations to purchase American elections.

Should make any libertad like individuals pop their buttons with pride.

Turkey says it’ll push NATO to consider Syria’s downing of Turkish jet as attack on alliance

ANKARA, Turkey – Turkey said Monday it would push NATO to consider Syria’s downing of a Turkish jet as an attack on the whole military alliance.

The announcement came on the eve of a meeting by NATO’s governing body to discuss the incident. Despite deep frustration among many NATO countries over the conflict in Syria, where the opposition says President Bashar Assad’s crackdown on an increasingly armed popular uprising has killed 14,000 people, it’s highly unlikely the military alliance will take armed action against the Arab state.

NATO may not, but the Turkish Military might…

I have a friend, a sculptor, who has a lifesize Obama in clay and is looking for help to cast and distribute in this election year. I believe as a business venture it has great potential.

Anyone interested in helping contact me by e-mail using Obama sculpture in the subject line.
