UPDATE 8:10PM: Charles Ashby of the Grand Junction Sentinel reports that Rep. Randy Baumgardner leads Sen. Jean White in the SD-8 GOP primary’s early returns.

UPDATE 8:00PM: Amy Stephens defeats Marsha Looper 60-40 in the HD-19 primary. Incumbent Doug Lamborn easily holds off Robert Blaha in CD-5, while Sen. Kevin Lundberg holds a 10 point lead over Eric Weissmann in CD-2 with 68% of precincts reporting.

    Some guy named Joe Coors has won the Republican primary to be the sacrificial lamb against Jared Polis.

    Oh, and Robert Blaha is beating Doug Lambchop by a small margin with 83% of the vote counted. Of course, Scott Gessler will declare that voter fraud played (is playing?) a big part in this.

    Baumgardner takes SD8 Primary.

    Mas-Wingnuts win Mesa BOCC primary.  NWCO remains a bulkwark against new fangled thought and progress, which as we all know was introduced by Woodrow Wilson, perfected by Stalin and resurrected by you-know-who, along with accomplices (aka RINOs).  

    Victory!
