Only watched it once, and I think he left out “Walk This Way” and “Bad Moon Rising”, and as always, needs more Zeppelin.

    Still lots of fun.

For some reason, this particular Split Enz album is not (easily) available on CD:

As corny as this may sound, waving flags this week and thinking of the (many unionized) firefighters doing G-d’s work for too little respect, too little appreciation, and too little pay, has made me very emotional lately. When ignorant people chant “cut taxes” or “kill unions” they are essentially saying they’d rather be idealogues and watch their neighbor’s homes burn down than have compassion and common sense (wingnut-haven Colorado Springs has 39 fewer firefighters and 50 fewer police than it had just five years ago). Still, despite the lack of hard-earned respect and resources, true patriots like firefighters and teachers keep going to work day after day. To me, that is the highest form of patriotism. G-d Bless America.

Too bad it won’t embed here. The Denver City Council needs to see that one.

Thought I recognized the voice and band name: the new group for singer Keith Morris of the Circle Jerks.

    TNSFW.

Couldn’t find a good live version to post. (They’re out there and worth finding)

…..American Idiot, one nation controlled by the media….
