        was a room in a club called XXIII Parish. The building is still standing, at the corner of Park Ave West and Market St, in the shadow of Coors Field. The neighborhood was skid row at the time, all warehouses and homeless people.
        There were a lot of great shows. Smashing Pumpkins played there in 91 touring their first LP. Nirvana played there again in 90, an all ages show that time. (I couldn’t see this first show because it was 21+, but I did catch them in Boulder the following night, as well as the 90 show and 91 at the Gothic). Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Buzzcocks, Treepeople, and the Dwarves all played there. It closed for good in 92.

  I don’t like to think of myself as cruel, necessarily, but I thought it was funny how uncomfortable the models accompanying Psy looked as they were getting paper blown on them by an off-camera industrial fan or some such thing. Psy’s a total professional, though.

    but I think its just awesome. They can’t say Psy is a Korean LMFAO because he has been around longer than them, but quite similar. One of the models is actually Hyuna from another South Korean band. Psy is just absolutely funny as hell. What a show.
