Liberal groups have been calling for CD-7 GOP candidate Joe Coors, Jr. to release his tax returns more or less from the moment he got into the race in January.
According to undated audio we were forwarded, he’s willing–and unaware of their request?

COORS, responding to audience question: When asked I will provide them. I haven’t been asked yet. Uh, yes, I will provide my taxes when it is appropriate.
Note to trackers: we did everything we could do to pull this audio out of the mud using our audio editing software, but it’s really pretty bad quality. We assume that Republican trackers have the very best recording devices available, and would encourage Democrats to stop shopping at Wal-Mart for theirs. If you’re going to go through the expense of getting a tracker into an event, he or she needs to have the gear to make the effort worth it.
That said, this is audio of Joe Coors promising to release his tax returns. We’ve heard that Coors may be hedging on the release of his tax returns, so audio of him promising to do so might have the effect of greasing the wheels a bit–or at least sharpen the point on questions about it.
