The DenverPols articles all conclude with the instruction:
“Discuss.” But, when you click on “Discuss,” there is no
“Post a comment” link. That has been true for years.
These are my questions:
1) Why can’t you post a comment on DenverPols?
2) Has anyone ever complained?
Thank you.
on the Denver and Jeffco sites in order to post comments, same as you do here. Once you’ve done that, and then sign in, you’ll be able to post comments.
I am really so ignorant, evidently, of the most basic
techniques. Although, I don’t see that anyone has commented on the DenverPols site.
1) I put in my user name and get a password to my email.
2) I submit that and get a message that the user name is already in use !
3) So I open a new account and go through the same rigamarole and get told that the User Name already exists…
4) Repeat.
No, this time it is not me. No one is commenting on DenverPols…nor have they ever. Sad.

Cause that sounds at least a little like you.
but also a history of commenting on Denver Pols.
Time to try the “lost password” route, I think.
CBS Sunday morning news highlighted Cory Gardner for close ties to lobbyist. The shot of him bellying up to a bar in Florida is priceless.

I know this log in debate is fun but this video is hilarious.
Forget it. It is not important.
Go to this diary and scroll down to the first comment from “dwyer.” It sure sounds like you.
http://www.denverpols.com/diar…
Did you?
It’s you. You registered a long time ago, made a few comments, haven’t gone back there for a while and forgotten in the meantime. No one felt the need to parody you back then, so it’s not a fake.
The account, denver dwyer, was created today.
If your intent was to scare me, you have. I don’t understand your obsession with me…makes my skin crawl.
I also don’t understand how you or whoever were able to create an account, unless you have some kind of special entry to the webmaster, etc.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven. But, carry on, if that is what you feel the need to.
This blog is as dead as the Obama campaign and the Denver Broncos.
seeing you around, then…eh?
The “dwyer” quote on the link that Ari gave was made in 2008. This “dwyer” account was set up in 2008.
I’m not saying that this “dwyer” is you, . . . but, I’m just sayin’ that account sure wasn’t just created today.
today trying to get onto to my credit union’s account website which I only use about once every six months or so. Couldn’t remember my password or the user name or both; not sure which — so, the way that system is set up I couldn’t even get a reset e-mailed. No help calling the CU; they were closed for Columbus Day.
Click the link I gave you. I know “denverdwyer” isn’t you. I’m talking about “dwyer” who has commented in 2008 on Denver Pols.
Click the link I gave you. Here it is again. Click it and read it:

Please note that it is NOT yesterday’s “denverdwyer” thing. That’s someone’s joke.
Read the comments from “dwyer.” Not “denverdwyer” who will not show up on that early DenverPols diary.
I have ZERO obsession with you. All I’m trying to do is help you. But… I DO wonder why you’re so worried about forgetting your account at DenverPols. And I’m concerned anyone might take your allegations about me seriously. (Subsequent comments show I don’t really have to worry, but I get this way anyway.)
Since you’ve been, shall we say, resistant to following through, I will blockquote the most pertinent thing from this linked page:
I thought you had posted the Denver Dwyer. There have been a scattering of posts on DenverPols.
I initially used my older username on DenverPols and said I couldn’t remember my password. A new password was emailed to ME. When I tried to use it, I got the “user name is also being used.” I tried a variety of combinations, including REdGReen’s advice to open a new account.
Nothing worked. I thought that you were referring to the DenverDwyer post, yesterday.
I blog on other websites, where issues are the focus.
People certainly disagree with me, but it doesn’t take on this personal “attack the messaged” crap. It is distasteful and evidently bothered me much more than I realized.
I am outa here.
And if you’re gone for good, take care. Whatever issues I personally had with your style, I have to admit that I generally feel that your warnings are worth heeding.
Soledad O’Brien continues to ask tough questions of the Rmoney surrogates who visit. They simply refuse to answer ANY questions. They are unrepentant liars, just like the man they represent.

- Denver Business Journal is in the tank for Obama.
- Way to go Mr President, and Sal Pace.
Wait – this has nothing to do with the President. But once Keystone is built, our prices will move more closely with the rest of the country.
Miklosi will beat Coffman
Pace will beat Tipton
The recent expose on lobbyists on CBS with Cory Gardner prominently featured bellying up to a bar will make this race close but Gardner is still likely to win.
that would be completely awesome. I agree with you on Pace v Tipton and Gardner v Shaffer, but I am not sure Miklosi will topple Coffman.
This comes from the guy who predicted Rob Portman as Romney’s veep pick, so take it with a grain of salt !
Mike Coffman just out “Willie Hortoned” every other political candidate ever. http://www.coloradopols.com/sh…
This from Yahoo News, straight off the headlines on the front page of my email:
The lying Republican ticket meme seems to be in full force. They’ve always been FOS, but it’s never been a story. Now it seems to be the theme whenever there’s a new speech or debate performance to judge. I think it’s finally sticking, too, as the newer Obama ads are dinging Romney on being untrustworthy. I don’t think they’d be spending the money if they didn’t think it was a winning message.
So we can defeat Al Qaeda
was a cruise missile from a sub. So, they are very useful. But, I’d say drones have a lot more usefulness at a lot less cost. Even SEAL teams cost less with more efficacy
and Saddam had a military.
And we have more subs by a factor of many than anyone else.
I’m a Navy brat, got to tour a nuke sub once. It was cool. Not saying they have no use, just saying RMoney is a tool.
also Navy brat. Which sub did you tour? I got to tour the USS LaJolla when my bro’ was on it.
It was in Newport (if I recollect correctly) when he was at the War College there. That would have been 1976 or so…
Long time ago. He might not even recall.
It was during the Cold War though, and I got to sit in the CO chair and pretend to fire a missile. Good fun for a 12-year-old, not too politically correct though.
world’s very first nuclear submarine, once the pride of Admiral Rickover and the American Fleet.
I attended the Naval War College during the summer of 1978. We went on a field trip one day to Groton and toured this vessel.
According to Wikipedia, she’s still preserved there today as a museum and a National Historic Landmark.

There you go, small world. Not that that’s on the other side of it or anything. I was there for when the Tall Ships came through as part of the Bicentennial–a fun time to be in New England as a kid actually.
and Weekly Reader covered it. Its maiden cruise took it under the Arctic ice
Or a few Romney/Ryan sound bite lies followed by a sound bite FACT:…
Only have 30 to 60 seconds for each message, but if there were several in rotation, the impact would be pretty strong.
and I’ve been watching Tester v Rehberg debate in Montana on CSPAN. Tester winning clearly
