Last day to register to vote.

when folks were just registering for muni elections they should have gotten it fixed. And, they would have gotten it fixed if registering voters was what Gessler saw as important to his job
happened at this same time, when the deadline for the November election was approaching.
Maybe this is not clear voter suppression. Maybe he forgot to purchase enough bandwidth for demand on high volume days. In other words, maybe he is just completely incompetent instead of corrupt?
He was either doing this intentionally or unintentionally.
If the former, he’s a criminal at some level.
If the latter, he need to be removed from office for one of those “feasances.”
Either way, he should be gone. In an ideal world.
Thought I’d see if the State showed me as an active voter. I already know the answer–I checked weeks ago through Larimer County Clerk’s website which works beautifully. Tried 3 times on Secretary of State’s website, just as an experiment and ended up on a page that read Java fail script error each time.
Maybe Scott should spend less time making cutesy commercials about registering and more time actually making it possible to do just that. Or in other words, the job taxpayers hired him to do.
Gessler fighting extra hard to keep a budget surplus in his office when the legislature was looking at reallocating it. That may have been in the business division, but it seems like he could use a bit of that cash to maybe do his job effectively.
Assuming:
He knows what his job is . . .
He really wants to do what his job is supposed to be . . .
He’s competent to do what his job is supposed to be . . .
He would that additional cash in a responsible manner . . .
I’ve seen no evidence of any of these, so why should I believe that money would make a difference here, now? It sure seems Gessler’s had enough money to pursue his pipe dreams and schemes. Claiming poverty now seems to be just an excuse for his seemingly endless clumsy partisan pursuits since he’s been in office.
On a slightly different note, if cash was the question, then Willard Bit-‘o-cash would be a solution . . .
simple incompetence, since a fat budget goes a long way toward getting the proper resources to do a good job. If Gessler can’t manage in even that environment, it shades more toward negligence even if his motives aren’t entirely corrupt.
saying the SOS salary was not adequate. I’m sure if he were allowed to keep his second job everything would be fine.
Only this one is an inside job.
