There are so many political ads up in the Denver market right now it’s practically impossible to keep up–but we wanted to make sure this powerful TV spot from House Majority PAC, which has been running for most of a week on a $500,000+ buy, gets a mention.
The quick take-aways from this ad:
1. Mike Coffman has some serious liabilities in his new swing district; and
2. Continued heavy spending in CD-6 shows this race is very much considered winnable by Democrats–an assessment that’s unlikely to change in the next two weeks. Whatever may have been said about Democratic challenger Joe Miklosi’s weaknesses up to this moment, he enters the home stretch with the full weight of Democratic support and infrastructure behind him.

Why doesn’t Steve Farber makes some calls? It’s just not happening this year. Try again when Coffman runs for Senate.
Saw this yesterday at the gym. Even with the sound off the ad is truly powerful.
Is it too soon to discuss who will be the GOP Challenger to Congressman Miklosi in 2014?
Kathleen Conti? I’ve seen a lot of signs supporting her for state rep. The democrat running against her probably has zero name recognition (and the district is more republican) so she’s probably going to have two more years.
Please get right on that.
If I were you, I would focus on the right candidate for CD-6 in 2014, once Coffman has moved on to the Senate and you might actually have a chance.
We don’t send radicals to the Senate in this state, as you fully well know.
Do you know how hypocritical you sound when you deride us for saying Miklosi will get elected- and then saying Coffman will win the senate. Unless you think the 17th Amendment is going to be repealed soon… just look at what Aristotle said.
Is it possible for Pols to run a story regarding Joe Miklosi without putting some form of the word “weak” next to his name?
He has been running 100% negative campaign, and repeating the same points every ad. We get it. Coffman is pro-life. Move on.
Talk about the economy, energy, and veterans Joe (if you want to win that is). I’m sick of this Coffman bashing.
