Coloradopols.com disturbs Owens sleep every 36 hours. John Andrews decries Liberal zillionaires!

  • by: DemoGirl

“Liberal zillionaires buying Colorado politics” is the banner on Andrews’ website, that links to the full article from the National Review:
http://backboneameri…

These liberal “zillionaires” have, as the article reads, “. . . established several websites, including ColoradoPols.com, that have started to shape political coverage in the state. ‘I can’t tell you how often reporters would call 36 hours after something appeared there,’ says . . . (Governor) . . . Owens.”

Gee, Bill.  You need to change your phone number!

Dang, John.  Aren’t you being hypocritical? What the hell you got to say about Pat Toomey and the Club for Growth whose East Coast mongo-mega-zillionaires bought Lamborn’s seat with lies and lawyers, and bought the Republicans minority status in the U.S. Senate?  Quit your whining, John, and turn your attacks toward your RINO friends like Pat Toomey.

“Our Mission is not to help Republicans
hold onto the majority.”

  1. John Andrews–not a poor man–has his little organization funded by multimillionaire Bill Bennett and John Hinderaker at the Claremont Institute so he can complain about the Colorado GOP running out of money.  Sometimes “irony” is too weak a word.

No wonder the NRO is close to bankruptcy.

    1. …and then it was disclosed that he like to play cards, dice, and slot machines from time to time?  Not to mention Bill Bennett whose brother Bob defended the accused Bill Clinton in the case of the blow job heard ’round the world in 1998!  So Bill Bennett is one of John Andrews’ money bags?

    2. The lesson John Andrews should learn is that when you abuse your power, you provoke a response that can cost you your power and prestige.

The anti-gay, anti-gay marriagae fanatics thought and think they have the power to impose their interpretation of the Bible on Christians who disagree with them and on non Christians.

So they have won a few referendum battles over the civil rights of gays. And they’ve provoked some gays who happened to have struck it rich to come out with their guns blazing.

John Andrews and his anti-gay friends have won a few battles and lost the war.

Democrats rule Colorado because of the blatant stupidity of Andrews and his backers.

Republicans won’t regain power until the current GOP establishment are out of the picture, which may not be for another, say, 10 to 15 years.

  2. I think I owe you an apology. I thought that Fawcett was paying you to post on here all the time. I guess it was Coloradopols. That’s my mistake.

I have to admit I’m pretty jealous of the free Lexus-Nexus search capabilities you get. You guys are doing a great job of turning this into a liberals only site. Congrats.

    -blah

    1. If I ever meet Leslie, I’ll be sure to pass along your regards.  Sorry, however, to disappoint you but I’ve never used Lexus-Nexus in my life.  I guess it disappoints you that others find easily what you think is difficult without a fee for service program to spoon feed it to you! 🙂

      1.   I think we’re past the point of pretenses here.

Or I guess you just have waaaaay too much time on your hands to dig up rediculously obscure online sites about half a day after they get posted.

        http://www.forthecau
        http://www.kansascit
        http://press.arriven
        http://www.mlive.com
        http://westmichiganp
        http://www.pbs.org/m

Or is the “West Michigan Politics Blog” one of your favorites?

For your sake, I hope someone’s paying you, cause otherwise you sure are spending a lot of your free time on google searches.

                1. Yeah, man. We are all on the take. Even the conservatives, we just left you out. And we would have gotten away with it too, if it werent for you damn meddling kids!

                2. My house needs new windows. And I want to trade in my 13 year old car for something more modern. Big liberal money would help out there.

Will you be on Lamborn’s staff? Be sure to check out the cherry trees in early spring, one of DC’s finest sights.

                  1. Not everyone on this site is being paid to do so, although I for one was sad to learn there were planted bloggers here. Kind of like learning Santa Claus isn’t real. I’ve been to DC a few times, but not for a few years. Don’t plan on going back soon.

                    1. Like all those shills? I don’t mean you, although you clearly were Lamborn’s most visible supporter here, but some of the ones who were so clearly affiliated with one campaign or another? Like Moonraker? Glad they’re gone.

If you mean what totheright was alleging, I’m not convinced. They had no credible proof outside of the National Review story and the dead guvs said no one talked to them about it. That’s not to say they’re not biased, but your willingness to believe a poorly supported argument speaks volumes about your own objectivity.

    2. must in real life be a scorned ex of Lamborn.
I can’t remember her ever posting a line that did not include Doug in some negative fashion.
That kind of obsession really is screaming out for professional help.
      Really.

      1. Lamborn, though, rises . . . or, should I say . . . sinks to new levels of indecency.  I think he needs Brokeback Bob to put him back in the public’s eye, though.  I’ve not had any good laughs like those days.

    3. they keep conversations going, post comin’ and debates ragin’.

Just as long as R’s and D’s are paid to post – good on ya’.

Now with that said.  Let’s hope that IF people are paid to blog here, and I haven’t seen anything to convince me of that, than at least they have the intellect to post about many different things or else stay out of the fray.  Constantly harping on one candidate or another, while may do it for others, doesn’t float my boat.

  3. Did you notice the only “plus” in that article Andrews can claim about “Conservative” Colorado is that Ref I failed and Amendment 43 passed.

See, John.  That’s your problem: Gay Marriage IS NOT the most important issue in people’s lives—geez!

And, can you believe how insane these Republicans have gotten to think this site is funded by Tim Gill.  Oy.

    Thanks for the link.

And this is for John Andrews:

      1. With no success.  It seems he wants to be heard, but not listen.  Closed ears, closed mind.  No one can be right but him, must be his message, so, why should he bother letting anyone dispute him on his site?
