    1. Sure- it’s like the GO(T)P playbook of the 00’s: campaign on your weakness, attack your opponent’s strength. See: Bushv Gore 00, Bush v. Kerry 04, and others.

As soon as I figure out how- Bugs Bunny what-a-maroon coming right up.

    2. I have it on good authority that his visit will be met with a crowd of…interested voters. I didn’t go through the Sentinels’ paywall (I would never give a cent to any organization that distributes money to Rick Wagner and Gary Harmon) so I don’t know the date…Pita, can you advise us on where and when?

      1. Gessler will first meet with voters from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Garfield County Commission meeting room, 108 8th St., Room 10, Glenwood Springs.

He will then meet with voters in Mesa County from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the commission’s public hearing room, 544 Rood Ave.

Voters in Montrose County will be able to discuss the election with Gessler from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Pioneer Room of Friendship Hall, 1001 N. Second St. in Montrose.

  1. Civil Unions to be heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee today. 1:30pm in the Old Supreme Court Chambers. Sen. Ulibarri, formerly a star witness for the measure, will now be the acting chair for the hearing while Senators Steadman and Guzman are seated in front presenting the bill. It is expected to pass, since a majority of committee members are also co-sponsors.

  2. “The Board of County Commissioners and Chantal Unfug have come to mutual agreement on her resignation as County Administrator. We want to thank Chantal Unfug for her leadership and wish her well in her future endeavors.”

    more to come…

    1. Not sure what’s going on over at Mesa County Commission; first their Public Information Officer (PIO) of I don’t know how many years resigns and now Unfug. If anyone finds out – let us know.
