Did I miss the status update by CPols? I’m still finding the new system a bit confusing.

This is a wikipedia altering story. It’s being widely reported that CREW and the FBI have been pursuing US Senator Bob Menendez D-NJ on possible child prostitution charges. Following the demise of ACORN and its promotion of under-age illegal alien prostitutes, the good Senator travelled repeatedly to the Caribbean and engaged in offshored child prostitution.

    http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/2013/01/fox_news_fbi_would_not_talk_ab.html

    • Should I say it? Ah, heck. Shut the fuck up.

So The Star Ledger says that Fox News says that The Daily Caller says that the FBI won't say anything about its investigation into the allegation that Sen. Bob Menendez paid for child prostitutes in the Dominican Republic – allegations that The Daily Caller itself originated before the election – but that emails indicate that, yes, the FBI takes its job seriously and does actually investigate these claims. Yeah, that's got a lot of momentum right now.

And we should all know by now that ACORN had nothing to do with prostitution or illegal aliens that wasn't invented by scumbag fake reporter James O'Keefe, who last I checked had run afoul of the law for his scumbag fake reporting.

PR-This has an old smell to it. This individual blogger is like a dumb bot. The debate whether this blogger deserves such a thoughtful reply as yours should be settled by now,

I'd be happy to add my voice to the chorus of "Shut the fuck up" if I thought it would help. This has been said before. Tad is incapable on so many levels, but most importantly perhaps, incapable of getting a clue.

          Good morning, Robin…

Some folks, I suppose, find my standard response to the Tadweiner a bit offensive, so I welcome your presence on the "STFU,tadpole" bus. I wait with anticipation (not "breathless" anticipation mind you…cause I don't want to suffocate) for Libertad to grow up and learn to really communicate something of value on these pages. It would be great to think that our repeated rejection of his pathetically brainless protestations might someday lead him to understand that intelligent people want to be treated as such, and that his universally stupid input only serves to undermine his point of view.

I have been complimented in the past for being a patient man. My patience with the tadpole evaporated long ago. So, for my part, I simply ignore the fool unless he is just being rude…

Is there a link you can point me towrd where I might review in summary form the user issues with this new platform?

your belief, taddy boy, that one of us might be stupid enough to set you up like that, is just plain rude.

          • La Libertad says:

Dookie, you're a real jack wagon. Less than 8-12 hours after I asked  for the link summarizing the WordPress platform issues, CoPols provided such a link or as they refered to it as an update on the user problems and their solutions.

This situation simply points out, clearly, the relevance and verity of this comment:

Your reputation for meaningless input is so well cemented into the DNA of this blog, that it is overly easy to assume you have some nefarious…or, mindless (just those two choices really) reason to ask, that I overreacted. It will probably happen again until  I (we)  …(see above)..your input here becomes something worth actually considering before losing interest immediately.

Very unusual for FBI to not tell us where an investigation is going before it is complete, not

OK fellows – go to your corners and someone tell me what everyone is mad about (or not) – I can’t for the life of me follow the thread unless I go back and forth with times posted under today’s date. Same is true when I open up to the home page to log in – I open with 1/25/2013 and have to scroll down to 1/26 for today’s thread.

Now back to today’s open thread for round 4 (I think).

Gay Priest succumbs to lifestyle choices, tries to thread the eye but gets … well you decide depending on your view.

“We became aware that he was acting out sexually — with men — in the church rectory,” Wallace told the newspaper, adding that church officials deemed the sexual behavior unbecoming of a priest and asked Wallin to resign.”

“The suspended Roman Catholic priest was arrested on federal drug charges this month for allegedly having methamphetamine mailed to him from co-conspirators in California and making more than $300,000 in drugs sales out of his apartment in Waterbury in the second half of last year.

Along the way, authorities said, he bought a small adult video and sex toy shop in the nearby town of North Haven named “Land of Oz & Dorothy’s Place,” apparently to launder all the money he was making. He has pleaded not guilty, and jury selection in his trial is scheduled to begin March 21.”

Lalibertad would imply you’re a girl. If your personal gender confusion bothers you so much that you have to post all this blether, then please seek help from a qualified mental health practitioner.

Or, STFU, if you want the shorter version.

    • lalibertad says:

Lurker, Shocked you think and feel that people people with gender ID issues have mental health problems.

      • exlurker19 says:

        At Lalibertad–

        People people? Huh??

I said (well, typed) that if you are bothered by your confusion, you need help.

I know people (real people, not people people) who are not bothered by gender issues at all.

Please crawl back under your rock again. I didn’t miss you last time and I promise not to miss you again.

I’m allways kind of conflicted when he of the filled diaper jacks a thread.

On one hand, I think of how responsible the little skidmark was in motivating so many pollsters to volunteer at OFA, helping the 44th President win Colorado by a bunch. Jamming that down the mom’s basement dwelling bullshit artist’s throat was and is a nice bonus to the win.

On the other, it’s usefull to hear from him again. The diapered one serves as a reminder of what the pinko is……..he’s the Virginia redleg legislature, gaming the electoral system, because pinko ideology and candidates are basically older replicas of the diapered one. He’s the proof pinkos hate freedom and Democracy because they can’t win in that environment.

He’s the gun sissy. You know, the guy that loaded his pants to dodge the draft, avoiding the risk of possible combat back in the day, and now champions the right of fellow sissies to utilize assault weapons on 20- 6 year olds in less than a minute.

The “right to life” bullshit artist that doesn’t even know what contraception is, anything about female biology, and most important, won’t ever need to know.

The character that doesn’t know or care that spending, unemployment, and the trade deficit are reducing every month under this President, but is very angry that the man in the Whitehouse isn’t completely white.

diapertad is usefull in his own skintag way……..he reminds us that there is 32% of the population out there responding to the banjo music from Deliverance.

He’s the difference between an American and a republican.

It's bad, and my gut is that the filibuster cave was the last straw for a guy that's been sticking his neck out in a very iffy State for years.

Word is, 6-7 Democrats were weak kneed, and while Harry gets the blowback, fact is he was undermined by "swing" or "bluedog" politicians that literally let McConnell up off the mat.

Tom probably is just sick of the well known practice of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory..

Since Paul Ryan disowned Taker/Maker Ayn Rand, he's now picked a new favorite Mentor:  George Orwell.  For instance here's his latest promise:

“This session, I’ll advance reforms to protect and strengthen Medicare and Medicaid,” Ryan said Saturday.

    He'll do that by

proposing that the House cut spending enough to wipe out deficits after 10 years

So, to protect Medicare and Medicaid, apparently you need to stop letting people actually, you know, receive any benefits that would cost money.  A similar philosophy was practiced in Vietnam — save the village, but get rid of the pesky people with liberal applications of Napalm.

Further, Ryan sincerely (in a "the sky is red" sort of way) believes:

“The way he tells it, it’s the president — and only the president — who’s trying to fix our bridges, to feed our children, to care for seniors, to clean our water,” Ryan added. “But we can’t get rattled. We won’t play the villain in his morality plays. We have to stay united. We have to show that — if given the chance — we can govern. We have better ideas.”

You know, you hear true conservatives in the Tea Party talking every day about rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure, making sure all kids get the nurishment they need to stay healthy, seeing that our elderly get the care they've earned, and protecting our clean water supplies.  Why it's obvious that keeping those oil and gas subsidies in place is money well spent — look at how clean the water is after it's been run through the fracking process!  And keeping our Pharmaceutical industry healthy by protecting their profits from mean ol' negotiators trying to get cheaper prices for seniors is just common sense!

Yep, Paul Ryan is a fast learner.  If the actual truth doesn't work for you, just redefine the meaning of the words and spread the New Truth!

    Code War update

Oh wow. Incredibly hectic day. Woke up at 6:00am to see how the European schools were doing (they were fine). Got everything set up to send out to the East Coast schools at 7:30 and discovered that 5 setup videos hadn't been uploaded. So suddenly in a panic to get them up to Vimeo, added to the emails, etc.

And the next 5 hours were a blur. Every hour emails out to the next time zone. Answering questions (most either turn off your firewall or configuring IntelliJ to see their JDK).

We had 2 bugs – had to scramble to get those figured out and fixed – fast. Proud that we did that in 2 minutes for the first and under 10 for the second. But I was also the idiot that put those bugs in the code.

And then for hours… nothing. Just waiting as they worked on it getting a question every 1/2 hour or so.

Now we've been getting the solutions uploaded for the last few hours time zone by time zone. The West Coast ones are about to start coming in. Then we can run the final between all the school finalists.

Getting emails from school after school saying they had a blast. My daughters says at Mudd they were screaming and yelling as the finals played out. The few I talked to on the phone who called at the end with a question sounded totally wiped out – but also very very happy.

I'll take this over a bunch of sweaty steroid enhanced jocks running around on a field any day of the week. And for those that want to see the final – tomorrow at 11:00am – Windward Code War Finals.
