In a press release sent from the campaign of former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, one of the last names mentioned as a potential rival to Romanoff in CD-6, Senate Majority Leader Morgan Carroll, is instead endorsing his candidacy–along with twenty-one current and former legislators representing the district.
“I am proud to support Andrew Romanoff for CD6 because of his longstanding commitment to improving the lives of Colorado families,” said Senate Majority Leader Morgan Carroll (D-Aurora). “He is deeply principled and willing to take on special interests in order to fight for the needs of ordinary people.”
“Andrew Romanoff is the best person to represent all of us,” said Rep. Joe Salazar (D-Thornton). “He is an open, thoughtful and effective leader, not an ideologue. And he has an outstanding record of working across the aisle – a skill sorely needed in Congress.”“Andrew Romanoff listens to our community and understands our concerns,” said Sen. Mary Hodge (D-Brighton). “He brings people together to solve tough problems.”
