The 2011 Ballot is Set

With August in its twilight hour, we’re just about two months away from this year’s coordinated municipal election in Jefferson County. Mail ballots will start to go out the week of October 11th, so candidates have a little over a month to define themselves in what may be one of the most bromidic elections in recent memory.

Candidate petitions were due last Monday, August 22nd. That means that those who got their completed signatures in by that date will be on the ballot. We’ll be profiling all the candidates in Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Lakewood and Golden as the season continues on, but for now, here’s a list of who’ll be on the ballot in each of Jeffco’s larger cities. We’ve included the websites for candidates whose websites we were aware of; if we missed one, feel free to e-mail us at info(at)jeffcopols.com.
