Spotted in Arvada over the weekend, where conservative attempts to recall Sen. Evie Hudak continue:
The same address you can find in the phone book? Intimidation fail.
Sense of humor fail.
How is this supposed to be funny?
It's not, it's the left's ridiculous child molester petition gatherer scare tactics again. Magically it did not apply to Amendment 66's paid petition gatherers.
Govote Colorado checks backgrounds. They also will fire people in a heartbeat if they screw around, intimidate voters, or behave unprofessionally.
Go Vote Colorado is the Secretary of State's office. What are you talking about? Do you have proof that the Amendment 66 paid petition takers were given background checks?
Sorry, I mis-wrote. It's America Votes, Colorado division. In case you want to apply, N3B, you may check out the job opportunity page – http://www.americavotes.org/internship
It doesn't say there that they do a background check, but I've been around when new canvassers were hired, and I know that they do a CBI check.
Hey, you brought up child molesters, not me. Still a sensitive subject for you?
It's not "ridiculous".
Kennedy Enterprises has a long list and a disturbing history of actual hirings of felons, sexual predators and deviants in thier employ.
I wouldn't want sex offenders who have a weird obsession with firearms to have my home address.
You can't find my address in the phone book. I don't even have a phone book.
Who uses a phone book anymore?
Oh, dear. Someone took a picture of license plates. Must be intimidation. Screw that.
You joke I hope
I certainly hope he's not.
My thought is that I want to know who the gun nuts in my neighborhood are. If getting a gun nut's plate leads to my knowing where the loon lives, my family and my pets are safer, my peace of mind a little more assured.
We do have a sexual predator list, easily accessible, and we should be able to access information on the gunzo demographic, The pros easily outweigh the cons.
We could start at the CCW level. Any "law abiding" gun nut should be comfortable with this as after all, the gun nut "isn't doing anything wrong"..at least for the present time. The upside is, when the neighbors hear the gun nut pistol whipping a member of his family, SWAT can be called in before the gun nut begins shooting. Alchohol is a problem in most or all gun nut households, and that list would make neighborhoods safer.
So, no, I hope Craig ain't kiddin'.
some people, like me, don't have an address in the phone book, Moderatus. fail on your sarcasm.
The question is still valid. Do you want to give professional petition gatherers you personal information so they can later inundate you with solicitations? If we know anything about the extremists on the right is that they'll use any opportunity to pimp for money for their extremist causes.
Look at that picture. What do you see, single issue republican gun nuts who are rabid supporters of the NRA.
