(The Mudhoney song appropriated by this videomaker has nothing to do with fishing, at least as far as I’m concerned, especially in regards to me posting it here.)
Not sure why Canines chose a completely different song to comment on. Alice's Restaurant is a Thanksgiving tradition at our house. We put it on as we're pulling away from our house and it finishes just as we're turning the corner to my brother's, where the family gathering is. Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without it. And we know all the words and sing/recite along.
As far as I understand it, this thread is a forum for people to post songs.ColoradoPols will oftentimes establish a theme that others can follow if they want to. It's not required though. The song I chose isn't a commentary on Alice's Restaurant. It's a commentary on Colorado politics, posted post-Thanksgiving. Hope that helps.
