Evie Hudak Honored By MSNBC's Alex Wagner: "A True Champ"

  • by: Colorado Pols

A segment from Wednesday night's NOW With Alex Wagner show on MSNBC we wanted to make sure got a mention. We hope that recently resigned Colorado Sen. Evie Hudak of Arvada has had a chance to watch this. Vital perspective on what happened this year, both to Sen. Hudak, and in Colorado politics generally:

The day before Thanksgiving, faced with yet another recall that could have handed the state’s gun laws to Republicans, Colorado State Senator Evie Hudak resigned from her seat. By resigning, Hudak ensured that the states’ gun safety measures that she championed will be allowed to stand.

  1. Saw it live…it was great. Colorado Dems just need to make sure that when the time comes for an appropriate way to say thank you for Sen. Hudaks' selfless act, we don't forget.

  2. I may well and rightly so be critiized for this comment, but it is made honestly.

There are two media events:  Hudak featured on MSNBC – a national audience on a "progressive" network with a "liberal" host;  the other is the local media event at the bakery….that has little media coverage, except for boyles broadcasting….crowds are there to support the baker…lots of "Merry Christmas" and the  talk against the so-called "gay agenda"…..it is a meet-up and people are coming from all over…….how do you think they will vote in 2014??   Will the democrat voters be motivated by the national broadcast? Will the MSNBC broadcast play into the "national liberals" trying to run Colorado?

    I don't know.

      1. I know that one way to use the adjective was the right way and I thought I had chosen it. Thank you for the correction.

They do not use the term Democrats on rightie radio.  They say – progressive marxist communists godless heathens….

        1. But when forced to identify by party they absolutely refuse to say "Democratic" because that would be too much like the American small "d" democratic way which is good. They've made it so pervasive you even hear progressives on TV using it the wrong way.
