IBM is now mostly a software & services business. This is a gigantic transition.
They still sell non-x86 servers, I believe. But yeah, this is a transition for them.
IBM mostly hires contractors with no vacation, no sick days, no holidays to provide those services to its customers. And oh, btw, same probably applies to all the big name computer companies in the world: very few full time employees; most employees no benefits at all.
The Washington Post released it's ranking of the most corrupt states. I'm curiously why Colorado was ranked relatively poorly–we have our scandals from time time but we've have relatively few elected officials sent to prison for corruption. Colorado's scandals and number of elected officials sent to prison don't come close to Florida, Illiniois, or Louisiana.
Does seem odd.
Three words:

Compared to Ilinios were doing well–we're nowhere close. When was the last time a Colorado governor went to prison for corruption? A Colorado Member of Congress?
As far as Florida is concerned, when was the last time a building failed because the building inspector was paid off?
Um,… our rankings on those charts put us at 40th, 31st, and 41st…doesn't seem all that bad to me…
Per Mr. Huckabee, women need contraception to "control their libido". Who knew? Way to appeal to the ladies, conservatives.
Huckabee is sooooo 2008.
