Romanoff fundraising party in Park Hill (vicinity 17th & Holly)  in mid-April. My sister and brother-in-law are hosting it. I can guarantee gorgeous atmosphere in a beautiful garden, weather permitting, interesting people, and fabulous food. I will also be there helping out.

If interested in co-hosting or helping, write to me at my anonymous email address:

Is Nancy Pelosi going to be there?

  4. Ham on Nye (the debate between the Creation Museum founder and the TV science guy) has a definite winner. Pat Robertson tells Ham to shut up and stop embarassing Christians…

  5. I'd like to make a bipartisan call-out tonight to Republican Representative Jim Sensenbrenner and the group of lawmakers on both sides of the aisle challenging the NSA. Sensenbrenner came out to the Department of Justice today with a pretty bold statement: support real reform or lose all authority for phone metadata collection. He further stated that there were not enough votes in the House to pass an extension of Section 215 as-is.

We saw this bipartisan alliance beginning to form when the House first considered the ramifications of Edward Snowden's whistleblowing. It has apparently grown in size by at least a few votes if they now claim to be able to fully block a renewal of this authority.

So congratulations to Congress for at least agreeing on SOMETHING that will be good for the country.
