What was the top story in yesterday's Collegian (CSU)? It was Code Wars Episode 3!
Romanoff fundraising party in Park Hill (vicinity 17th & Holly) in mid-April. My sister and brother-in-law are hosting it. I can guarantee gorgeous atmosphere in a beautiful garden, weather permitting, interesting people, and fabulous food. I will also be there helping out.
If interested in co-hosting or helping, write to me at my anonymous email address:
nomes36080@mypacks.net and I will put you in touch with my sister & bro in law.
Is Nancy Pelosi going to be there?
No…..Why would she be?
AC thinks Pelosi being there would be proof that Andrew has sold his soul to the Antichrist/devil in the form of a hard working progressive grandma who stayed home to raise her children before entering elected politics. You know what they say about pleasing form. Maybe he wants to know so he can get a priest to do an exorcism or something.
AC is just jealous of Pelosi because when AC tries to sell his soul the devil said the market for the souls of right-wing whack jobs was down to $3.12 a ton. AC's soul weighed in at 1.2 ounces, and it just wasn't worth the processing fee.
Just making fun. Coffman is running against Pelosi so I was wondering if she was going to be there.
If Coffman wants to spend his money running against Pelosi (who is unlikely to regain the gavel) instead of the almost always on the ball Romanoff, more power to him. Romanoff I'm sure will greet him as he comes in for new member orientation.
Ham on Nye (the debate between the Creation Museum founder and the TV science guy) has a definite winner. Pat Robertson tells Ham to shut up and stop embarassing Christians…
I saw this. You know the Fundies have gone off the rails when one of the proto-Fundies feels the need to step in and call him out for a fool.

Dave, Nice get. I think Floyd does a nice job of calling it as he sees it.
That he does.
Though he has been wrong mostly the past few years.

I'd like to make a bipartisan call-out tonight to Republican Representative Jim Sensenbrenner and the group of lawmakers on both sides of the aisle challenging the NSA. Sensenbrenner came out to the Department of Justice today with a pretty bold statement: support real reform or lose all authority for phone metadata collection. He further stated that there were not enough votes in the House to pass an extension of Section 215 as-is.
We saw this bipartisan alliance beginning to form when the House first considered the ramifications of Edward Snowden's whistleblowing. It has apparently grown in size by at least a few votes if they now claim to be able to fully block a renewal of this authority.
So congratulations to Congress for at least agreeing on SOMETHING that will be good for the country.
