It's like a planetwide spell was cast
Everyone I asked, accepted the baloney and trash
And it's only a mask
Worn by a character who wants what you have

  1. To quote Mike Allen of Politico…"Happy Friday, everyone!"

And now for a day full of insipid bullshit from your favorite rightie idjits…

    AC, Moddy, n3b,….bring it, boys…

  2. I'm not familiar with the above quote in context, but at surface, it reminds me of the new-and-improved Mike Coffman 2.0®'s attempt at being a "moderate".

  3. DC, No let's have some deep thinking from the resident Dems.

Inurance rates for insurance paid by others are less than if you paid the full amount, Praise be to Obama.

    Some more potential Dem brilliance:

Price of Soup is less at Soup Kitchen?

Food purchased with Food Stamps is less than if you paid for it yourself?

The benefits of living in a Dem inspired welfare state are breath taking.

Good think nobody has to pay for it, right?

        1. Nothing, huh?

Well, OK. This liberal Dem has to go to work, so that I can pay my taxes, so that they can be used to help those less fortunate than me…and I'm not talking about Charles and David Koch.

          1. You knew he was gonna come unhinged now that the ACA has proven to be successful.  He lost and he just can't let it go.  I guess he forgot that in any insurance plan since day 1, the people who don't need benefits pay for the people who do.  That what insurance is all about.  And why they have actuaries.

            1. The ACA mouth frothing and horror stories didn't stick.  Back to the drawing board for some good ol R/tea party brainstorming.

On the bright side, at least Paul Ryans' budget looks sensible !

    1. Still doesn't beat this tighten-your-belt, Republican brilliance:

Borrowing from overseas to pay for an overseas war that you can't domestically afford yourself.

      1. That doesn't count, Canines…as we've seen time and time again…War is important to chickenhawks like AC… As long has his ilk can profit, or if it makes him feel him feel like a man, he doesn't care about Servicemen or Civilians.

  4. Okay,

I keep trying to post on the classy scholar thread and I keep getting a message about "internal error,"  Yet, I was able to post on the gardner/chaput thread.

Is it me?  What is going on?

    1. The "internal error" message usually means one of several things:

      • I need to refresh / reload the page
      • I am already logged in, and I'm trying to log in again
      • I've got two windows on pols open, or a comment open
      • I need to go up to the top menu, click on "home" and let the whole site reload, including new comments
  5. @mj55

Thank you.  I really can not remember the sequence of what I had done prior to getting the "internal error."  I have never before gotten the error message.

It happened twice.  It is possible that I had two windows on pols open or a comment open.  Live and learn.
