    1. And 900,000 of that is for his anti-Udall version of the Generation Opportunity ads, which feature a fake Udall shopping.

Like the anti-Obamacare ads, this will end up pushing people towards udall and away from Gardner. People tune them out.

      1. MJ

I thought that Ad was paid by a third party.

        Gread Ad.

Obamacare is very unpopular as is its name sake.

I am sure Udall was very busy in DC so he could not break away for his own Fund raiser.  Right.

        1. Too Bad AC!  While you were away your Republican decided you're full of it — reposted from Thursday Open Thread.

The GOP and the Koch brothers aren't spending enough time and money beating the dead horse against Obamacare.  Their troops just haven't gotten the message for some reason.  I'm sure there is plenty of time and money to quash this insurrection!

A poll of Obamacare enrollees published Thursday by the Commonwealth Fund found that 74 percent of newly insured Republicans are happy with the plans they bought.

But the survey wasn't all good news. HuffPost's Jeffrey Young reports that more than one-third of the lowest-income residents in states that didn't take up the Obamacare Medicaid expansion at the beginning of this year remain uninsured.

Gee, I wonder how many of those in GOP-controlled states that denied them Medicaid coverage for their kids will vote Republican?  Hmmmm

  1. Suthers is now going to court to try to enjoin Debra Johnson from issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples in Denver.  Does he think one of those conservative, strict-constructionist Denver District Court judges will give him some love?  This is just getting silly now.

    1. I'm guessing he hopes one of the district judges will go through their legal reasoning and find differently than did Judge Hartman in Boulder. Having two district courts in conflict in an ongoing matter where the state has a daily interest might give him some weight to get an expedited ruling from the state Supreme Court. They're on vacation for the summer, but Suthers wants that kind of expedited handling…

  2. Just in case anybody has any doubts about what Hobby Lobby's agenda really is (hint: It's as opposite religious freedom as it gets) and where the five conservative male Supremes stand, here you go.  Oh and BTW, Viagra, vasectomies and pumps for erectile disfunction are all fine for coverage.  Snip it, pump it, drug it up and have all the child free recreational sex you want, boys. Bet they have no objection to men who've had vasectomies and have no intention of reversing them to have kids getting married either in spite of the marriage is for proceration mantra. But I digress….

The long term goal of Steve Green, President of Hobby Lobby, is to have a 4 year bible curriculum, that they write, be mandated in all public schools.  In April of this year, the Mustang School Board approved Green's Bible Curriculum even though, as of June 2014 the curriculum was still in draft form and was still undergoing revisions.

Draft Copy of Steve Green's 4 year Bible Curriculum:

In May, the AP also reported that they got a draft copy of Steve Green's 4 year Bible curriculum:

The curriculum says people should rest on the Sabbath because God did so after six days of creation, and says people risk God's punishment if they do not obey him.

~excerpt from draft copy of Hobby Lobby President Steve Green's 4 year bible curriculum obtained by the AP.

While Steve Green has admitted he wants his 4 year bible curriculum to be mandatory but, he realizes that in order to 'creep' his 4 year bible curriculum into the public school system it must start off as an 'elective.'  What better way to silence critics than to say 'hey, it's an elective.'And once those critics are silenced, they stop paying attention at which time Steve Green can then 'creep' his stated goal of mandating his 4year bible curriculum into public schools.

      1. Wish I could help but It's impossible to stop doing something (shopping at Hobby Lobby) that I don't do in the first place.  All I can do is continue to not do that.

  3. Heading into the weekend, you might want to check some of these out if you're hoping 2014 might not be so bad for Dems after all. It seems that, in addition to lots of better economic news, both nationally and here in Colorado under a Dem Prez and Guv respectively, those wacky fun loving nut cases in the GOTP are, once again, giving us some help. Take your pick.
