    1. But of course, you folks all will be lining up to criticize Hillary's foreign and domestic policy decisions, when/if whe decides to run in 2016.

          1. I can see it in the next Colo GOP strategy meeting:

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to sell the FUCK out of stupid today."

Sorry Dio, I just saw Wolf of Wall Street.

        1. "Do you know who also hates ISIS and who is bombing them? Assad, the Syrian government. So a year ago, the same people who want to bomb ISIS wanted to bomb Syria last year," said [GOP 2016 front-runner, likely CO GOP caucus pick, and soon-to-be Sr. KY] Sen. Rand Paul. "Syria and ISIS are on opposite sides of the war. We're now bombing both sides of one war that has spread into another country."

          1. One of the simplest ways to spot as cowardly rightwing asshole without anything substantive to say?

The POS always leads his trolling with either "Dear Leader," or "libtards."

It's a foolproof, 100%-accurate litmus test for brain-dead Teabagger assholery.

        2. You have the wrong party, AC. Dems, both rank and file and pols, have been supportive of some things and critical of others all along.  You can read tons of criticism right here on this blog going back to when many of us believed he failed bargaining 101 by not allowing a single payer voice a seat at the table during the healthcare reform negotiations.

Yours is the  party that pretends every one of your emperors is fully clothed no matter what your lyin' eyes tell you. You're the Borg party with all regurgitating the same spin catch phrases. Your the party that follows dear leaders. Getting Dems to meekly fall in line the way your kind does is like trying to herd cats.

          1.  You're totally right, of course, B.C. and that's not new. Way back in the '30s Will Rodgers admitted to not belonging to an organized party. He was a Democrat.

          2. Sue Brown, wife of former Democratic State Rep. Paul Brown, once responded to that comment by saying, " you don't have to herd them, you just have to open a can of tuna".

Opening a can of whoop ass on the Republican Party, might be a good substitute for tuna….

            1. Hey 'skinny and BlueCat!  Good to be back.  I helped put together a first-ever conference on hemp in Hawaii and then spent a little time with friends there getting some R&R.  From the shores of Maui (and now) back on the shores of the Ogallala – rested and ready to rumble!  I see our trolls our still alive and well.

      1. I'm sure the same cabal of evil, anti-American GOTP scumbags is meeting already to plot how they intend to cripple the Hillary Clinton administration against the will of the majority of American voters — just as they began conspiring against President Obama right after he throttled Abe Simpson McCain and Snowbank Snooki.

Here's lookin' at YOU, Mitch "Yertle" McConnell and Eric "What the hell just happened?" Cantor, et al.

        1. I've never seen "snowbank Snooki" before, DP. That's a good one, and probably useful as it seems that creature will never go away. As for the real Snooki, wat I know about her could be painlessly dropped into my eye, and I'm good with that.

          1. Thanks, I like it too, but can't claim credit for it.

And the less known about either of these washed-up "professional celebrities" the better, especially now that the less intelligent one no longer has a snowball's chance in Hades of ever getting near federal power again.

    2. AC, I'm happy to let you know I'm not voting for Clinton in '16.

In fact, I don't think she'll be the nominee in '16.

The same "inevibility" in '08 never occurred.

We'll find the right guy for the job.

      1. Agree. 2008 was supposed to be HRC v Giuliani. Done deal. I too think it's more likely that stuff will intervene and the pundits will, once again, show how lousy they are at predicting the future. What they mainly do is just parrot what "everybody" is saying at any given point in time.

  1. This is one of the most egregious aspect to our state's present marijuana laws: The fact that a consumer can't have a product tested themselves by an independent lab in order to verify its safety. Cannabis businesses can–and have to do–aspects of it; but why can't consumers access testing? I question why our state legislators won't allow it. I have my speculations, though–and I encourage you to have your own, as well. (Don't like that line of thinking? FIX THE LAWS!)

New rules for Colorado’s recreational marijuana industry are prohibiting state-licensed labs from testing medical marijuana patients’ products, including pot, edibles and infusions. Retail marijuana testing facilities are banned from accepting samples from patients, caregivers, consumer protection groups or anyone else outside of the licensed marijuana industry.

  2.

    this is important……

Report: Drillers Illegally Using Diesel Fuel to Frack

An analysis by an environmental group finds hundreds of cases in which drillers used diesel fuel without obtaining permits and sometimes altered records disclosing they had done so

For many years fracking industry groups insisted their member companies never used diesel fuels in their operations. Then, in 2011, a congressional investigation found that in fact between 2005 and 2009, 12 companies had injected 32 million gallons of diesel fuel or fracking fluids containing diesel fuel in wells in 19 states.

    http://www.propublica.org/article/drillers-illegally-using-diesel-fuel-to-frack?utm_source=et&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dailynewsletter

    1. I saw the story about the spill the other day in which they found diesel. It seems to me if the small companies are going to cheat, it would serve them to clean up their own messes so well that they don't get caught with contraband fluids.

    1. Ohh, man!  Next, Daft Punk will deny that cutting taxes will produce so much ne revenue that we can increase military spending and balance the budget.

    1. A grand jury was called to determine whether or not Perry broke the law when he threatened to veto the funding. As a result they issued indictments on two felony charges: abuse of official capacity and coercion of public servant. If found guilty on the charges, Perry could be sentenced to a maximum 109 years in prison.

An indictment indicates the grand jury believes the state has a strong enough case to send to trial and is not a finding of guilt.

So are Republicans that become governor inherently criminal?  Or do Respublicans become criminals once they become governors?

        1. Hey, as a native of Chicago, I'm just glad to see a non-Illinois Governor indicted for a change. I read that he's the first Texas Guv to be indicted in a hundred years so it's apparently not just a matter of them nasty Dems trying to make mountains out of mole hills, though I'm sure that's what we'll hear from Modster and AC.

          1. I particularly loathe Rick Perry. I spent a lot of time in Texas in the past three years. He is a Texas "Good ol' Boy" through and through…the ugliest of the "Ugly Americans".

I grew up in the midst of a culture full of pricks like him. Pricks like Jerry Ferguson, who took his children out of public school when it allowed two little black girls admittance. Pricks like "Bo Bo" Haggard who only knew one word to call my families black friends. And the often imitated, never duplicated, Lester Maddox, he of axe handle fame…

They are no less than a criminal syndicate, sworn to the one percent doctrine, blind to reality and willfully ignorant…I really just can't stand being around people like that…

      1. Illinois, Dem, New York, Dem.

It just seems to you like it is Republicans because, 1, you are a dem and 2 there are so many more Republican governors. 🙂

  3. Illinois is bi-partisan.

Virginia is a hot mess.  Rick Perry is about to get his comeuppance.  Crony-capitalism, quid-pro-quo, abuse of power…then we have Steve King, don't get me going on that hotbed of Colorado GOP activism Mesa County!  Phew, talk about a cesspool of Republican thievery and backhanded dealings…

    1. You're right about Virginia, ct. it is a hot mess. Hwever, I do think a Democratic Governor and A.G. can go a ways toward cleaning it up. Meanwhile, I shall enjoy watching the former governor and his missus pegging up their soled linens on the public clotheslines.

      1. The McDonnells are a hoot!  When this is done and after they have been released from prison, I'm guess they will get their very own reality TV, books will be published by both of them, and he will go on the "redemption tour" and eventually run for (and probably win) a safe GOP House seat.  Perhaps Cantor's old district.
