Ever wonder how the O&G boys keep the truth from being told? This story will give you a clue…..
Documents Reveal EPA's National Fracking Study Halted by Industry Pressure
Not that we haven't known this all along…..

Seems that $8,000 a month salary for the new Colorado Senate GOP press secretary ie Sean Paige is paying off. I don't know about that guy Eli Skokals, but Eli Stokols is a great reporter.
The Obama-Biden recovery continues to grow, even without Keystone! 295,000 new jobs added in January, and unemployed down .2% to 5.5%.
(I suppose the conservatives would say that with Keystone, there would have been 295,035 new jobs albeit in a more toxic environment.)
Unemployment rate falls to 5.5% http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/06/february-jobs-report_n_6811564.html

"Since the overall participation rate declined recently due to cyclical (recession) and demographic (aging population, younger people staying in school) reasons, an important graph is the employment-population ratio for the key working age group: 25 to 54 years old.
In the earlier period the participation rate for this group was trending up as women joined the labor force. Since the early '90s, the participation rate moved more sideways, with a downward drift starting around '00 – and with ups and downs related to the business cycle.
The 25 to 54 participation rate decreased in February to 81.0%, and the 25 to 54 employment population ratio increased to 77.3%. As the recovery continues, I expect the participation rate for this group to increase a little more (or at least stabilize for a couple of years) – although the participation rate has been trending down for this group since the late '90s."
Bottom line, you have these numbers with an R administration in power since the Great Recession and they'd be bragging about how they saved the economy. Are there still problems? of course. Mainly connected with R foot dragging and Dem cowardice preventing things like a massive stimulative infrastructure rebuilding program and, no, a few new jobs on the pipeline is nothing of the kind.
GOTP straining to turn good news into bad news, progress into lack of progress, a recovering economy into an economy that needs rescuing by them would be increasingly ludicrous if it weren't for Dems absolutely refusing to go on messaging offense. They keep allowing Rs to say, sure you like the Dem stance on choice and gay rights better but the important thing is jobs and we're the the fiscally responsible party that's going to create them. And that's bull but Dems consistently refuse to call bull shit for fear of looking like commies who want to lynch the rich. In fact they try to look more conservative, as if a lite version of completely discredited policy is the way to correct completely discredited policy.
Dem pols had better grow a pair very soon or Dem grass roots volunteers are going to have a really hard time going back into the fray for them. All the hours I volunteered for Udall and Romanoff, for instance, were huge waste of time. It was especially galling that we bumpkins kept telling them their messaging was all wrong. They ignored us as if we were a bunch of village idiots. They lost. We were right.
So far, no sign they've learned a damn thing. I'm sure they still think we didn't know WTF we were talking about and blame anything and everything except themselves and will pretty much keep it up right through 2016 relying on presidential year demographics alone to get them over the finish line. If that proves to be the case, they can do it without any help from me.
Why Obama sucks at job creation
Because of very low increases in PUBLIC SECTOR employment.
Saint Reagan did a much stronger job !

Commenting system sucks.
But, you knew that.
Looks like ACHole is hard up for new material. That participation rate "problem" was thoroughly debunked last year when he first started flinging that cowpie around.
Guess he'll just have to settle for old, dried turds since that's all he can find.
He can always revert to ISIS beheading videos.

The Colorado Springs Ethics Commission is investigating whether City Councilwoman Helen Collins took part in a property deal to help anti-tax activist Douglas Bruce avoid paying a court judgment.
Someone needs to do reality TV show on my home, Yuma County. With the highest pecentage of affirmative votes to secede of all 11 counties, now fully armed for the herds of stoned-rabbits preparing to march across the prairie, it's Sheriif Chad Day along with five other sheriffs are suffering from a crisis of conscience on enforcing Amendment 64 (even though the Controlled Substances Act specifically states it is not intended to preempt state law). Once the largest corn producing county in the nation and home to one of the largest concentrations of confined cattle feeding operations in America (cows outnumber people 26:1) was home to the largest industrial hemp field in the United States in 2014, producing enough oil to bring relief to thousands of children suffering from severe epileptic seizures. It's also home to our newly-minted Ag Commissioner Don Brown, and our junior Senator Cory Gardner who yesterday announced his co-sponsorship of the 2015 Industrial Hemp Farming Act – even though he voted against H.R. 4660, a bill that ultimately prevailed and prevented federal agents from interfering in states where marijuana and industrial hemp have been legalized.
It is a county of contrasts and opportunity.
