Does a Superbowl victory for the Elway-created, Manning-run Broncos set up a couple of simultaneous political campaigns? Will there be former Bronco quarterbacks rushing and passing their way to new careers as governors of (respectively) Colorado and Tennessee?
Wouldn't be surprised…
I think that, more likely, we'll see a push for a new (taxpayer funded, of course, duh!) stadium and/or expanded team facility.
Get some while the gettin's good (easy) …
Both Elway and Manning are smarter than that.
Neither Ellway nor Maning would take the pay cut.
Supposedly, in 82% of the years where the Super Bowl is won by an old AFL team, the stock market goes down. Just checked and the Dow was down another 264 points.
And, here, I was sure it was gonna' be all Obama's fault?!? …
Horrible, no-good idea.
