Personally, I think the left's attempts to guilt every Republican for Trump's words will backfire. I assure you the nation will not elect Democrats to destroy America just to spite Trump.

You're putting all your eggs in one basket as usual. Even if Trump loses, America will not go crawling back to the Democrats. They will vote for Republicans down ballot on the merits not guilt by association.

It didn't work that way with Goldwater in 64 or McGovern in 72. And they were decent, honorable men who loved their country and served it in uniform. TrumP is a yellow-bellied draft dodger , a serial adulterer, a four-times bankrupt Swindler and a racist Demagogue. To stand with Trump in any capacity is to dishonor yourself. When I served, our motto was "Duty, Honor, Country." Trump defiles all three standards. I am almost glad he dodged the draft. I wouldn't want to tell my family that I served alongside such a despicble coward.

If not for gerrymandering Dems would pretty much always be in the majority in congress. More Americans vote for Dems than Rs over all.
