Stimulus day - Obama in CO - w/Video of Mark Ferrandino

  • by: wade norris

Lately,  Republicans are constantly telling me new theories about Barack Obama or the democrats, including how the dems were planning to “turn the country socialist.” (even as our Republicans are calling for the Nationalization of our banks) Even worse, is the claim that Bill Clinton is to blame for the economy.

Fortunately, in the REAL world, the dems have ample opportunity to prove themselves superior to their Republican counterparts on budget issues and fiscal knowledge. Here in Colorado, we are very proud to host President Obama as he formally ratifies the Stimulus plan. We are also proud of our local dems, like House Rep. Mark Ferrandino, our local economic ‘expert’ whose last job was computing the interest on the deficit, which was a surplus during the end of the Clinton Presidency, but sadly changed to a deficit the first two years he was on the job with the Bush Presidency. The main concern with Clinton’s budget was paying off the deficit too fast.(Note to Republicans, Clinton left Bush with a budget surplus in 2000.)

Continue on to hear from Rep. Ferrandino himself…

Mark does a great job of outlining the credit crisis, mortgage crisis, and practical solutions for our citizens facing budget issues.

Check out Mark’s website, and remember, the democrats were the ones that got us out of the last depression and last left us with a budget surplus – so spare us the lecture Republicans. You left behind your fiscal credentials when you hitched a ride on the Bush train. Give the President’s stimulus plan the benefit of the doubt.

And for Dems, I hope you will enjoy President Obama’s Speech in Denver,

and remember to honor your local Democratic “experts” at every chance to your Republican naysayers.
