    1. …and that, ladies and gentlemen, is our call to action. The American, non-ammosexual community must reward Dick's for their decision. We do not have a store nearby, but I will definitely go online and make a purchase.

The American consumer wields enormous influence. Always has…always will.

      1. Or as our right wing friends like to say, the invisible hand of the free market will reward or punish.

But notice in Georgia the iron fist of big government (the Lieutenant Governor and the State Senate) is putting its thumb on the scale by threatening Delta Airlines with economic penalties for having the audacity to stop giving freebies to the NRA.

        Adam Smith would cry.

  1. Trump Nobel Peace Prize nomination probed amid fakery concerns

A nomination made for US President Donald Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize was potentially fraudulent, according to the awarding committee.

The Norwegian committee has filed a report with police over its concerns.

Mr Trump was reportedly nominated for his "ideology of peace by force" by an anonymous American.

The director of the Nobel Institute said there were concerns that Mr Trump's nomination may have been falsified.

">I can say that we have good reason to believe that [the nomination of Mr Trump] is a fake," Nobel Institute Director Olav Njølstad told Norwegian broadcaster NRK.

  2. From the what-could-possibly-go-wrong  department.

Georgia police take teacher into custody after shots fired at school

Police in Georgia have taken a high school teacher into custody after being called to an incident where they say he fired a gun in a classroom and then barricaded himself in.

The Dalton police department tweeted that no children were hurt or in danger during the incident, which lasted for about an hour on Wednesday and caused the school to be evacuated. They provided no information about the teacher’s identity or what caused the situation.

    1. In a related story . . .

. . . President Drumpf, after conferring with NRA officials, announces his plan to arm “highly gun adept” high school students.

"It's a well thought out program with a lot of training in advance. Maybe just the top 10-to-20 percent of students will qualify."

Students who agree to pack heat will be given extra-credit towards private, for-profit, College certificates; or 20% off discounts for the purchase of IvankaWear; or an extra jello pudding cup in the schools’ cafeterias.

  3. Hope Hicks is resigning — the 5th communications director to leave in his 14 month old administration.

You know what?  I AM almost getting tired of winningdevil

    1. Must be a tough job, since all the best people don't seem to last.

Jason Miller [prior to inauguration] 2 days
Sean Spicer [acting/overlap as Press Secretary] 45 days
      Mike Dubke  88 days
      Sean Spicer [Acting]  49 days
      Anthony Scaramucci  10 days
      Hope Hicks  196 days

Someone did the math and said Trump was on pace to have 11 by the end of his first term (and that wasn't counting the 2 day Jason Miller, who pulls the average tenure WAY down).
