What you can do to fight back this week (April 2)

  • by: ProgressNow Colorado

This weekend, Donald Trump made a liar of Rep. Mike Coffman. Again.

Last fall, Rep. Coffman claimed that Donald Trump is “the only one” who can fix the nation’s broken immigration system. That’s not a misprint. Even though Coffman pretends to have moderation on immigration in recent years, statements like this make it clear Coffman is in no way a “different kind of Republican.”

And that was before Donald Trump announced this weekend that a deal to protect immigrants to came to America as children is “dead.” On Easter Sunday, and during Passover, no less. To thousands of kids right here in Colorado and hundreds of thousands across the nation, Trump is not trying to fix immigration.

He’s trying to make it worse.

When it comes to immigration reform, Mike Coffman is part of the problem—not the solution. Action item #1 this week: call Rep. Mike Coffman at 202-225-7882 and tell him to stop making excuses for his party’s failures on immigration.

Once you’ve done that, here are many more ways to fight back for the week of April 2:
