  1. With R’s tax cuts are the solution to every domestic issue and bombings are the solution to every foreign issue. We should be very leery of both.

        1. I think it was initially promoted, although without the "promoted" tag, just to have some front page coverage of the ginormous Democratic fiesta in Broomfield. I was covering it as best I could, even if I couldn't make it look pretty or provide hot links.

Then I don't know what happened. Somebody decided to "unpromote" it.  Alva is usually reluctant to promote my work, but hasn't offered a critique so I don't know why. I've learned not to complain about it.  I write to Jason Bane but he hasn't been returning emails lately. So I don't really know what's going on with people who make decisions about the front page.

This diary, I admit, is kind of haphazard, due mostly to the tech – can't write well on an Ipad, in the midst all kinds of visual and auditory chaos. So it was more of a live blog than a finished piece. But it does have most of the info right, minus a few misspellings, and I can live with it for what it is and where it is. Anyway, if it's off the front page, I can edit it to my heart's content without it dropping from the front page.

Probably, Pols will do a cleaned-up “official” thread on the front page, in which they admit how surprised they are at what they got wrong. Or not.

      1. Thanks, happychef  nasc

That was hard to do on my phone, especially when it was entirely unclear when the free liquor was going to run out. Some of those corporate shills know how to assemble

  2. Marble has a bill to require a god oath for public office. With upraised hand.

Just when I was starting to wish we would vote to remove term limits

          1. Or "Art of the Deal". TrumpStench did say it was the best-selling business book ever written. By a ghost writer. Who later came out and said that Trump was "deeply disturbed" and "utterly untrustworthy".

        1. In Lake county i've been sworn in multiple times using the provided "without god" form. No book to swear on.

I think anyone who needs to swear to any body other than their own people is not qualified for a position
