“A public man must never forget that he loses his usefulness when he as an individual, rather than his policy, becomes the issue.”
–Richard M. Nixon

I read that many Trump voters supported him because they felt disrespected.
I …, well.
That is all
Why? Because they don't want to live in a pluralistic nation?
To paraphrase Trump Supporters themselves: Fuck their feelings.
Yes, of course, Trump still stinks.
A Cat 5 Trumpstink warning is in place for Washington, DC. And northern Virginia.
Stay upwind, America!
OMG
"These aren't people, these are
animals." Donald Trump referring to immigrants.
OMG
Are you really all that surprised?
No. But I hate that response. It normalizes Trump. It's not a question of being surprised. I am disgusted, and even scared.
I share your disgust, Itduso but you need to take your grievances to Jill Stein and her contingent of Useful Idiots.
Now you've done it. Cue "Ride of the Valkyries" as MJ rides to defend the honor of the oppressed Jilliots!
Prepare to hear much about voter suppression in Patagonia.
Not to mention the ultimate insult: I've turned into Zappy.
The difference is that Michael Bennet did not help elect Donald Trump. And Michael Bennet did not sit down to dinner with Putin and Flynn.
BTW, has she ever explained who counted all the folks who did not vote and what their methodology was?
You two need to get new joke writers…your material is stale.
A left-wing ideologue walks into a bar…😀
Here you go, R&R.
…couldn't I just take my complaints to HRC?
I mean – she lost.
Makes about as much sense as R&R's suggestion.
Sure, she’s great at accepting responsibility!
But she didn’t lose . . .
(. . . she was robbed, cheated, underappreciated, really busy, conspired against, misunderstood, misquoted, hacked, set up, bullied, victimized, steered wrong, pushed left, under the weather, poorly served, held back, pushed ahead, given bad advice, given too much advice, underadvised, not sufficiently advised, let down, out of the loop, over cautious, over zealous, misrepresented, under reported, over reported, disrupted by Comey, Putin, Bill, Anthony, Bernie, Barack, Joe, Steney, Groucho, Zeppo, Harpo, Larry, Curly, Shemp, Ringo, Paul, that other guy, that one too, him also, . . . . . . . . . .)
That is a moronic and mean-spirited response.
"Taking grievances" to Jill Stein or people who voted for her will do exactly NOTHING to help the 800,000 DACA kids who will be deported if DACA is not renewed, nor will it help the caravan of women and kids at the border seeking asylum. It will not help Syrian refugees seeking asylum; it will not help people who have been here for decades seeking citizenship.
I could give a shit about Jill Stein – and whatever nonsense Vger spouts, I'm not here to defend her or people who voted for her. She was stupid and naive to let herself get used by Putin to defeat Clinton.
You would probably be shocked to know how low a priority responding to your provocations is on my to-do list. Graduation is imminent, and there are a hundred things to do.
I'll post the usual list of what Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida did to suppress voters and why this helped Trump and hurt Hillary more than anything Stein's "idiots" did.
Since you asked.
Tee hee. Like a moth to the flame!
Go Jilliots! Take State!
+10 itlduso – we’re not competing to see who is the most cynical and so not “surprised” by Trump’s newest outrage.
The hard thing is to turn that disgust and fright not into escaping, but into activism and resistance at whatever level.

This is scary: Whistleblower Leaked Damning Cohen Financial Documents Because They Were Disappearing From Government Financial Crimes Database
I think I just found out why Gerbils (aka Andrew Carnegie) and Moderatus have moved on to greener pastures:
Why have to debate or defend your lies and misrepresentations when you can simply feed them to a gullible, unquestioning and willfully ignorant audience?
That President Richard Nixon did not have during the climax of Watergate…
So true! I'm old enough to remember the 3 networks back in the day with Cronkite, Brinkley and the guys (plus Barbara Walters) at ABC. And two national newspapers of record competing with one another: one broke the Pentagon Papers story, the other Watergate.
There was no Faux or Breitbart although we did have the National Enquirer … newspaper of record for the Deplorables.
Joshua Keating from Slate (I am speechless):
Add the hypocrisy of a legal sanction against a Chinese corporation found to be sending devices with US technology into Iran, Sudan, North Korea, Syria and Cuba. Then, the company was found to be lying about how it responded to US sanctions, NOT punishing executives but giving them raises.
Then, suddenly, *resident Trump decides to overrule his Commerce Department and instruct it to insure ZTE lives and prospers.
It occurs to me that one reason Bolton used the Libya example to the negotiation (a not too subtle attempt to sabotage any summit) is simply that he knows Trump in one-on-one negotiations would give away the farm in exchange for a new Trump Pyongyang Hotel and Golf Resort funded by a Chinese loan.
That, and of course, Bolton's general operating principle that "War is Good"
