  1. I shall forever be indebted.  Thanks for the opportunity to bore you all with greater prominence.

I think ardy deserves a nomination.

The other part of my life–the real one–has been demanding of late, but as I will hang jealously onto my powers until they are stripped from me, you may get more yet.

    1. Libertad, in all seriousness, why would you of all people reject the opportunity to urinate on our liberal parade each and every day? It’s not like you.

  2. I just don’t want to see postings from an editor obsessed with his own bloviating.  Being vitriolic doesn’t equal intelligent and informative discourse.

    1. Does this mean you have determined not to seek public office this election cycle?  Because if you are running, you should not be front page editor.

        1. I never heard from CPols on whether running for office would be a conflict of interest or not, as I brought it up in the thread from a few weeks ago

I’m fine with serving as both FPE and a candidate, as I wouldn’t abuse the FPE position to promote myself – that I can guarantee – that said, if CPols views it as a conflict, then I’m happy to withdraw

(and yes – this is all Anschutz’s fault…. heheheh)

                    1. I hadn’t taken Leonard’s advice and engaged The Google when I made that comment. Do these guys really think we are all that stupid? Rhetorical question there.

  3. installment 1

JO-doesn’t like Micheal Bennet, but might have a sense of humor.

    OneQueerDude-OneOldTimer usually makes sense.

Laughing Boy-Seems OK if terribly misguided.

Steve Harvey-Packs a lot of words into a simple thought.

Muhammad Ali Hasan-Adds flavor to Pols and Colorado GOP. Makes sense somewhat less than 23% of the time.

Middle of the Road-Musically and politically on target, made Pols bend their own rulz.

BoulderRepublican-On a lonely quest to convince Democrats that GOP is mainstream party.

Ralphie-“declined” merely as a strategy to be selected, now put him on the list of nominee and force him to be your editor.

    1. Ralphie does NOT want this job.

I write my own blog.  I made a mistake using the term “Daily” in the blog name.  So be it.  I’m stuck with it.  But that means I have to think of something semi-intelligent to say every day.  Some days the best I can do is to print a recipe.  It doesn’t matter.  I have faithfully written 1,490 articles, out of loyalty to my readers, since I started my project on November 30, 2005.

At my age, doing something semi-intelligent each day is damned near impossible.  But I’m going to keep trying.  I’m not going to worry when I forget where I put the car keys.  However, the day I forget what the car keys are for is the day I’ll stop writing.

I do NOT want any responsibilities more complex than what I put my own name on each and every day.

Ralphie did not decline merely to be selected.  Ralphie declined because he has his hands full just living, breathing, and trying to write an article a day.
