Frazier Reports $230K in Q1 Fundraising

Wheat Ridge, CO- April 12, 2010 – Ryan Frazier, leading Republican challenger to unseat Ed Perlmutter, raised over $230,000 during the first quarter of 2010. This consecutive quarter of strong support shows that voters in the 7th Congressional District are concerned with Ed Perlmutter’s allegiance to Washington D.C. special interests and San Francisco Liberal Nancy Pelosi, who he votes with 97% of the time.

Ryan Frazier said, “I am very encouraged by the support that our campaign has received. When I talk to people in the 7th Congressional District, their message is clear: ‘We want someone representing us that will listen and who has bold new ideas about how to get our country back on track.'”

“Our campaign is out there working hard every day. We are making phone calls, going door-to-door, and participating in meet and greets all across the district. There is no doubt that our campaign has a unique combination of the grassroots support and the financial resources necessary to win this race,” added Frazier.

Frazier’s contributions came from 533 donors. Individuals accounted for 95 percent of the total raised, 90 percent of whom are Coloradans.

  1. Frazier could raise a million tomorrow and still get smashed by Perlmutter in November.  You think the residents of CD7 give a shit if you call Speaker Pelisi a “San Francisco Liberal”?  Furthermore, exactly what “Washington DC Special Interests” does Congressmen Perlmutter have an “allegience” toward?

Perlmutter has his ear to the ground and listens intently, often, and actively to his constituents on both sides.  I’ve said it once, and I’ll gladly say it again…
