My latest missive from Romo indicates he will cut back if he doesn't reach his fund-raising goals. There are some diehard hick haters (play March of the Oily Boyz and Ride of the Valkyries) but it looks like the serious money is getting behind Hick vs. Cory.
And so it goes.
By "serious money", V., do you mean big fat checks from big fat cats, or thousands of $25 donations from regular working people?
Well, Duke, if the rent is due and the lights need turned back on, it's the size of the bank account, not the purity of the donors, that determines if a campaign can continue.
Yeah…I know.
The reassuring part is, Hickenlooper would never sell out the people of Colorado to some wealthy corporate donors…would he?
Perhaps Baer should run for an office less ambitious than Congress. A legislative race, for example.

He’s already sort of been on a school board…former Exec Director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. School Board would be a step down…but I wouldn’t mind seeing an out progressive gay man making decisions about how schools implement say, comprehensive sex education.

No but he’s been appointed to some high level positions. I like a lot of what he has to say
in print. He’s never campaigned on the eastern plains, unlike most of the other candidates.
Anyone think there is a an effort to position for a potential Senate vacancy if Bennet (sooner) or Hick (later) find a different position is more appealing?
If so, it's a clever strategy.
I'd disagree. I like Polis, but the guy will undoubtedly appoint a Boulderite that's close to him personally if and when the time comes.
