Suspended Seventh Judicial District Attorney Myrl Serra has been arrested once again.
Last time, if you recall, it was for allegations of sexual misconduct. This time, it was for violating conditions of his bond by contacting one of his accusers. He faces a new felony charge and two new misdemeanor charges.
You can read about it in the Montrose Daily Press.
Maybe Serra ought to quit while he’s ahead?

It can be a very strange town. Few who live there seem to be acquainted with the concept of a conflict of interest and intimidating the hired help is normal procedure.
Still, you’d think Serra would at least try to behave himself.
Even if he were acquitted of the underlying charges, beating the charge that he violated bond conditions or a protection order could stick. And, as DA, he is going to have a real hard time making the common claim of those who violate such orders that he didn’t understand them.
It can be proven that the UFO’s reported by New Zealand Air Force are really based in Montrose and cause strange things to happen to those not wearing their aluminum hats.
The San Luis Valley is sort of famous in UFO circles.

pretty hard to be a District Attorney with no law license.

First some stupid with a flare gun, and now this.
I don’t know anything about the West Slope.
Wasn’t that the place the Sheriff was dealing drugs a few years back?
I need to move up there. Sounds like a fun place.
In Montrose things aren’t that complicated, just weird.
