I know Adam. He’s not a thug.
Are you trying to say he was good at “”kicking people out” or do you really mean to say he was good at kicking people?
I don’t really have a dog in the mayoral fight. Except everyone who lives in the front range and visits Denver on a regular basis does.
If a mayor can bring the necessary imagination and leadership to I70 solutions – I’m all for it. If a mayor can make more free parking close to downtown, I’m all for it. If a mayor can bring the necessary imagination and leadership to get light rail to DIA, I’m all for it.
If the mayor can all also sell the city and bring big events like the DNC or the G7+1 or the All Star game or anything that fills the convention center and surrounding hotels, – I’m all for it. (Denver can’t get a Superbowl – unless the weather requirements that were relaxed for Giant stadium can also be relaxed for us.)
I don’t know squat about him but a lot of people here don’t seem to care for him. Why?
Safety third?
Putting forth a stupid idea and asking for feedback is fine when you have 99 friends to stop you acting regardless. A bit different when it’s just you.
That’s the casual dislike.
The venom comes from his reversal on MMJ. He used to be one of the only elected officials vocal in defense of the whole set up. He would later change (slightly from most people’s point of view) to fight against dispensaries. Allegedly because he was “bought” by… someone.
I don’t follow the cause in this way because it doesn’t interest me, so I’m hazy on the intrigue. I actually thought the only statement I ever heard him make about it was completely correct; the Constitution does not support any weed business model. I guess the difference is that I thought that all the time and am no “richer” for it.
punctuation, and paragraphs yesterday.
Did the original get sucked into the black hole of the blogosphere or did the author make some edits and updates with the magic delete button?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Yes, there was an actual diary. Since it’s been removed- shouldn’t the comments go too?
