Maybe someone needs to look more closely at her mentor’s financial disclosures. Perhaps there may be some payments to MTG’s tantric guru/lover chalked up as campaign expenses?
We can dream, but let's be honest: There is no accountability coming for her. If she hasn't been held accountable for her many crimes thus far including those she committed even before being in office, she's not going to be held responsible.
I mean, this is the country that lets Trump and his regime walk free despite limitless corruption and obvious crimes committed in public including attempting to steal/rig elections and overthrow the government. America can't even keep Bill Cosby in prison for God's sakes. Sadly we just don't do accountability, our institutions are not capable of it, it's not in our national DNA.
Yeah, that's probably correct. The notion that Sloebert will face anything resembling real accountability is a clown-punching fantasy right up there with "Mueller's investigation will bring the Trump administration down," "the CIA is working behind the scenes to destroy the Trump administration" and "now that Trump is out of office, the criminal indictments will fall like rain."
Sparky is basically correct. Some political junkies may get concerned about Boebert's fiscal improprieties.
Average voters in the 3rd district likely don't follow this stuff. For too many voters in the 3rd, all is right and good as long as she continues to love Trump and continues to "own the libs."
But sometimes the Party of Trump demands accountability.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn has called for the resignations and/or removal of everyone in the line of presidential succession except Nancy Pelosi, Pat Leahy and Janet Yellen as a result of the events in Afghanistan over the past week.
I've only seen photos of Mr. Boebert sitting in the P/U truck. He is a big boy … height-wise at least.

Right next to the claim she is "active in her church and has spent years counseling at-risk women at the local jail, encouraging them to become self-sufficient and productive members of society who do not depend on government assistance."
She lied about the volunteer counseling, too. She volunteered nine times over a period of two and a half years. And she lied about her prior criminal history in order to be cleared to volunteer at the jail.
I could post every day about "Something stupid or outrageous Lauren Boebert said / tweeted / posted today." Her latest schtick is accusing Biden of being in league with the Taliban and basically responsible for the carnage from the terrorist attack at the airport.
But here is how Representative Jason Crow responded when Boebert complained about delays in transporting Afghani refugees. It's classic. And, of course, Boebert blocked Crow, a congressional colleague.
When I was in College Young Republicans (late 1960s), some of my colleagues put together a document on then Senator Birch Bayh (D-IN) called "A Political Ineptitude Test."
I think it cost Bayh a couple of points in his successful re-election campaign. But what politician doesn't have occasional mis-steps?
My point is that you liberals ought to collect the data and do a similar thing for Boebert. She certainly has far more fuel and fodder than Bayh had, and is among those who could completely re-write the book on ineptitude.
Marsha Blackburn was a founding member of the Young Republicans and she's *about* as batshit crazy as PewPew. I'm guessing Marsha, Marsha, Marsha was silent about our 200+ marines that died in a single incident in Beirut under the watchful eye of Reagan?
Blackburn was born 20 years after the Young Republicans were founded, so it was unlikely she was a founding member.
She founded her county Young Republicans (according to her Wiki page).
I think it is fair to distinguish between founding an organization and founding a local chapter of an organization. It's roughly the difference between being Juliette Low and a Brownie leader.

I did check the Colorado Sun’s database on the PPP loans. Didn’t find Shooter’s Grille, Smokehouse 1776, Boebert Consulting LLC in there- but if they were loans under $150,000, they wouldn’t be listed.

The arguments above seem to suggest that the system is corrupt to the core and, in that sense, Boebert has done nothing deserving of exceptional punishment. Probably correct.
On the other hand, when the system is corrupt on the surface, as it is in her case, it's bad for everyone else in it. Boebert is so colossally stupid that she's ruining it for everyone else in it for the grift. She'll have to go.
Alternatively, she's as brilliant as Trump and wants to get indicted as a way to rally her base even more. Of these two, I think the former is more likely.

I do not know Mr. Boebert. I would not want to cast unwarranted aspersions, but he is a roughneck, never a group singled out for being dominant playing Jeopardy. In fact, I will ask a question I heard long before I turned out in the oilfield.

Beyond her obvious racism, stupidity, and lawbreaking, there really isn't enough attention paid to the fact that she is the stereotypical definition of white trash. It's not just not finishing high school, it's the petty arrests and the fact that she didn't finish because she was a teen mom. I know from growing up in Southern CO that it's not an unusual story, but one would wonder just how people aren't more embarrassed by her inherent trashiness.
We shouldn’t be attacking Bobo on the basis of being “poor white trash”. That’s classist and wrong. She is ignorant and unqualified to represent her district- that’s pretty evident, and I was the first one on here to bring that up. She’s also a hypocritical “Christian” who drank and broke the law, married a sex offender, is stealing from her campaign donors even now.
But there are plenty of powerful white men, born into privelege, that also show ignorance and misrepresentation. ( Buck Lamborn Gosar Trump Gohmert etc etc). My best friend, passed away 15+ years ago, was “poor white trash”. She finished her degree at 40.
