We hope you’re indulging in some well-earned time, space, and rest after a great Thanksgiving holiday week.
As you get back in the swing of things, consider circling December 7th on your calendar. It’s Colorado Gives Day, when people all over Colorado will come together (virtually) to harness the power of our community to improve our state.
Here’s how you can help (or get ready to help), right now:
Give: Go to the official Colorado Gives Day page to schedule your donation for December 7th, to maximize your investment. All funds raised on Colorado Gives Day will be automatically matched by a generous community of supporters.
Create a calendar alert: Colorado Gives Day is December 7th (less than two weeks from today). Open up your calendar app of choice and create a reminder for yourself.
Follow and spread the word: As the day gets closer, consider following our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter), and any other Colorado-based non-profit you’d like to support, for timely updates. Share our social media and this email with your friends and family to expand its reach exponentially. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you!
Thank you for your support! here are a few more ways to make a difference for the week of November 29, 2021:

World AIDS Day Solidarity Walk
Please join the Golden Nugget Sisters as we walk in solidarity for the memory of those we lost to AIDS and for the many who are still living with this virus. December 1st is World AIDS Day and the Sisters will be walking in solidarity for those we lost to AIDS. We will be making stops to bars on Colfax including Tight End, Charlie’s, Xbar and Lucid. We will ask the community to write the names of their friends or loved ones that no longer walk amongst us on our Sisters white veil of REMEMBRANCE. And we ask that you write positive messages of love and support on the gold veil of HOPE for those who are living and thriving throughout the world. We hope to make this an annual tradition every year!
