On this fine day in 2004, the greatest website in the history of the Internet was born (that’s us, BTW).
Colorado Pols is 17 years old today. One more year and we can vote!

So, this site came to life on Festivus? Was the airing of grievances the impetus for it? Or was it the feats of strength?
Pols can't vote at age 17, but in Colorado you can preregister! Happy birthday, and we all await the Festivus Miracle, which might be snow in the mountains.
Happy Birthday Alva! I think you came into my life around the time of your first birthday (then under an assumed name). Did you get a big ol’ birthday present from George Soros today? Or did Louis DeJoy *uck up the delivery???
Happy blog-iversary.
Have you ever told the tale of the 2004 impetus? Because 2 days post-solstice and 2 days pre-Christmas doesn't immediately come to my mind as a time to start a new political effort of any kind.
They let me out of the laundry baket to say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all you LEFTIST NE'ER-SO-WELLS. May your nights be Merry and Bright and may all the White Supremacists get the Blight.

Happy Birthday, Pols! An isle of sanity in the madness of the damn-demic.
Ah, remember back in the early days, when we had the likes of Moonraker, Gekco, Laughing Boy, Lauren Bacall, Ralphie, Lamborn Has God-Like Qualities, and the rest of the old crew?
..and those crazy-as-outhouse-rats Ruthie and Sybil
And Blue Cat. I miss her.
I miss Blue Cat, too!
Ditto. I occasionally see BC in the Letters section of the Denver Post. One very sharp cookie, whose wisdom is sorely missed.
I've been on since 2006, maybe a little before. A whole lot of folks (and lesser beings) have come and gone, but some of us are more difficult to get rid of, I guess.
Happy Birthday, Alva!
You've come a long way, baby!
So close to Christmas. Was that hard for you?
Happy Birthday, Pols!
And many more!
A very happy birthday Pols !
You’re 17/18ths of the way to true freedumb . . .
. . . Just one more year ’til you can purchase your very own assault rifle without mom or dad!
One more, ColoradoPols, one more!

Happy 17th birthday, Pols! And Happy Holidays- from Just another footsoldier in the War on Christmas.
Happy 17th! So much has happened since the fight against bush II, the village idiot. Square State and Pols were the best to happen to Colorado.
But he's been replaced as the worst by The Screaming Yam as The Worst of All Time. At least Shrub tried to do a good job.
Yes, Shrub was simply stupid but there wasn't the deliberate evil that we got with Trump.
Shrub may have enjoyed playing the stupid frat party boy but Trump would get his jollies by pulling the wings off of flies.
Thank you. I appreciate the work you do.
They grow up so quickly.
Sniff.
