At Least He's Not Your State GOP Director/Lawyer/Parliamentarian

Some politicos apologize for indiscretions on Twitter.

Todd Kincannon, the South Carolina Republican Party’s former Executive Director (stepped down after two months), current Parliamentarian, and frequent General Counsel, makes Twitter-based indiscretion an art form. I’d call him the political Tucker Max, but even Tucker Max finally figured out he needed therapy.

This isn’t news; in fact, when Todd Kincannon did something marginally decent, that was news. Hell, he’s not even exactly beloved in his own party, and apparently has a history of totally weird meddling in party reorganization activities.

My Valentine to you, dear Polsters, is a selection of Kincannon’s finest, beginning with this:

(More below the fold — NSFW language!!!)

On appropriate things to call pioneering women in elected office:

On logical argumentation:

On GOP leadership (he said so himself!):

Dude hates Romney, but they have one point of view in common:

Lengthy rant (read bottom-up, for those who have successfully avoided Twitter so far in life!) about women, abortion, and birth control:

His best Cartman impression:

On his own intelligence:

Responding to criticism on Twitter:

But don’t worry… he’s not disqualified from holding public office.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Pols!

      1. And, let me just pause here now to note how a couple of months ago some D-nozzle wrote a comment assuring me how much I would enventually learn to love my new iphone’s virtual keyboard . . .

Needless to say, I now cannot help but judge everything else that he posts by that same single piece of sage wisdom.

    1. All of my digging for this post turned up not a single instance in which he suggested any of the offensive things he’s ever said or done weren’t his own work.

    1. without seeing it with your own eyes.  As far as Jews outlasting Hittites and a bunch of others from back in the biblical day, what can I say?  We’re a sturdy bunch.

  1. How can someone that sits at such a seat of power be such a pompous wind bag? This is absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing. Digging your blog though. Have to admit a few of his tweets had me laughing (at him, not with him).
