Ready To Get Red Pillowed, Colorado?

Because ready or not:

One week from tomorrow the loudest election conspiracy theorist in America “MyPillow Guy” Mike Lindell will be in Colorado to headline a rally for his dear friend and recipient of much Big Pillow largesse, indicted but still-in-it-to-win-it Secretary of State candidate Tina Peters. Also headlining is the Colorado GOP U.S. Senate primary’s leading “election truther” Ron Hanks–potentially delivering a big boost for both candidates with Republican party faithful ahead of the crucial GOP state assembly the following weekend. While some local Republicans are calling, in a few cases pleading for the party to move on from Donald Trump and focus on gains in the upcoming midterms, a majority of Republicans according to polls are still not ready to do that. This rally is for them, and if you think it’s crazy then this rally is simply not for you.

Also, Denver is the capital city of Colorado but the building is the State Capitol.

If we’re going to get into correcting these people, that’s the smallest of potatoes.

  1. I’ve known a lot of women in my lifetime that would be in the running for the title “America’s Mom”, starting with my maternal grandmother (an ardent Catholic Democrat) who raised 13 children on a small, Minnesota dairy farm with no indoor plumbing.

There isn’t a list long enough that would include Sherronna.

  2. Not only was there a capitol/capital error (thrice), but also “patriot’s” shouldn’t have an apostrophe. But these are the people who are going to let us know what’s what with a complex technological election system, and the same people who are going to reform education.

    1. Glad someone else caught that – it was eating at my pedantic grammar-obsessed brain. Unnecessary apostrophes are a classic hallmark of Facebook Brain Poisoning (which all of these people and anyone attending obviously has).

      1. It's not pedantic.  Every time an apostrophe is misused, the Denver Fire Department has to send a paramedic crew to revive Dave Barnes.  It gets expensive!

  3. Red Pillowed

laugh That alone is sufficient to confer legendary status on this blog post.

At this point everyone knows that some percentage of Americans are gone down the QAnon right wing authoritarian whackjob rabbit hole and are never, ever coming back. This event might provide some insight into what that percentage is.

    Also, lol "America's Mom."

      1. Me too. Those million-teabilly Hoveround regattas at which legions of old fucks demanded that the gubmint keep its filthy mitts off their Medicare were a pretty good time.

  4. Just curious … for Peters and Hanks, what expenses related to this event are allowable for a candidate, but must be reported as a campaign donation?  What spending would be additional ethical violations because of the “gifts to elected officials” standards?  And would any need to be reported to the IRS and Colorado Revenue?

And on a related monetary thought — do you suppose someone will be there recording the event on behalf of Dominion Systems and its legal team?
