(Yowza – promoted by Colorado Pols)
There are no words for this.
At the Louisiana state GOP Convention, Ron Paul supporters claim to have had a strong majority (they dominated the state’s caucuses back in April, giving them the most delegates to the convention). But the establishment GOP refused to recognize the convention’s election results and instead had the newly elected Rules Committee chair (and subsequently elected and ignored State Party Chair) hauled off by the police.
Both of the Paul chairs were injured in the process of being evicted from the convention. The RNC now gets to decide (not based on facts, naturally) who runs the Louisiana GOP and whose delegates get to go to the national convention.

You have to admit, they do things a bit differently down in Louisiana. Politics is never dull down there.
waiting for the GO(T)P convention. I wonder if there will be guns?
There have been calls to Gov. Rick the Scammer to please, please ban the guns from the convention, but so far I think guns are “in” for Tampa.
But knowing republicans, they’ll be hitting eachother with their pompoms and scratching one another.
That’s why they go heavy.
One guy gets his fingers broken; another guy has his prosthetic hip dislocated and may need a replacement surgery.
Sounds more like a mob get together than a political convention.
Doesn’t this provide additional motivation to the Paul fans in LA to get even more organized and ready for the next convention? I don’t see how libertarian republicans will become less energized over the next four years.
