Now we know what PP was on about the other day.
F*cker Carlson is a traitor. His stoned cold-open the other day suggested that the United States blew up the Nordstream 2 pipeline, and then he proceeded to describe all the ways Russia might retaliate.
At least Toyko Rose played music between the propaganda. Carlson is just 60 minutes of hate, racism, and lies, interrupted by ads for pillows and nutritional supplements.
PP luvs some Putin and Carlson. Meanwhile, sane people know that none of the pipelines were delivering gas to Europe and there is no present loss of a revenue stream for Russia. This was Putin's doing
Yep I'm with you on that comment.
Until elected LEADERS ACTIVE sedition and insurrection are policed in our free constitutional republic….. we will be picked apart with electronic media and misinformation confusing a large minority.
That minority is able to leverage illegality by a totally fucked up electoral college executive choosing system that allows the misinformed minority to muscle the majority into oblivion.
Why would destroying our most active enemies largest source of potential income be considered a bad thing?
Because Russia didn't own it EU countries did. It's a direct attack on EU infrastructure. Not to mention a methane leak worse that SW Colorado.
Hmm… I see the Russian energy company Gazprom owning the Nord Stream pipeline..
Nord Stream AG is a Swiss conglomerate. Gazprom controls 51%. The other 4 companies are all EU owners.
Interesting tidbits: Since the gas was all Gazprom's, and Switzerland is still neutral militarily, and the pipeline explosions apparently happened just outside of territorial waters, the attacker (probably Russia) has great excuses for waiving off NATO involvement. No Western government needs those reasons, nor did they need to blow up the pipelines anyway – both have been shut off since the beginning of September.
The pipeline wasn't fully charged or operational yet but had residual test natural gas right?
I stand corrected! Owning 51% of a company doesn't allow that owner to blow it up…..in any legal system.
Because the US doesn't currently go around the world blowing up civilian infrastructure.
And because the US has said it won't have boots on the ground in Ukraine … presumably, that would extend to not having flippers in the water of the Baltic Sea, too.
That's weird too because we literally had flippers in the water in the Baltic Sea doing mock explosive exercises and UUV (Unmanned Underwater Vehicle) testing… and the USS Kearsarge was in the Baltic Sea as late as Sept 20th….
The thing is, if we did that – the info would leak. Too many people involved to keep it a secret.
Don't see USN doing that for any reason.
Cui bono?
– Europe becomes largest export market for US LNG
– Germany has no option but to uphold sanctions
– Destroys $55.5 billion in potential income to Russia
Who benefits more than the U.S. that this occurred? as ajb says below, Ukraine? Perhaps, but only a player with advanced naval warfare capability could complete.
How does Russia benefit?
I think Ukraine did it.
Are you sure it wasn't Hillary Clinton? But her emails ….
Hills has been known to do some pretty badass underwater demolition in her spare time.
Remember what Biden said! In his cryptic remark, he knew the strategic value of the pipeline to Russia.
Governor DeathSentence still won’t admit that climate change is the main factor behind increasing and more destructive storms hitting his state. You can see how he dances around the issue in an interview in this article:
With widespread devastation , towns leveled, thousands homeless, damage in the billions, and most Floridians not insured at all, will DeathSentence ask for Federal aid?
Of course he will. And most of it will be grifted to his buddies, leaving the poorest people in his state SOL.
Meanwhile, TFG begged for donations – not for hurricane victims, but for his legal fees.
He’s already got his hand out for that aid. He voted against helping New Jersey after Sandy when he was in Congress. If it wouldn’t hurt the citizens of Florida who are literally drowning in this nightmare, I’d love for Biden to tell him to go pound (wet) sand.
I remember the assholes in Colorado's republican delegation who also voted against federal aid for NJ after Sandy who then had to turn around and ask for relief after the floods here – Mike Coffman, Cory Gardner, Doug Lamborn and Scott Tipton.
Same with Canadian Cruz, voting against Sandy relief then requesting federal aid during freezing temps in Texas AFTER returning from Cancun.
The grownups always have to step in in spite of these shitheads, and make sure something gets done.
These people have no shame, never do the right thing, and never step up for others. Money for me but not for thee…

Interesting article – Gerrymandering Isn’t Giving Republicans the Advantage You Might Expect
It makes some really good points. We'll probably lose the House, but keeping a majority is possible.
Can you imagine the psychotic episode which everyone from "My Kevin" McCarthy down to the lowest back benchers in the GOP House contingent will experience if the Dems keep 218 seats?
They will either launch their own Stop-the-Steal jihad, or turn on one another, or both.
What if the Republicans win a 1 seat majority? So each time any 2 of the looney tunes reps throws a shit-fit, it freezes everything up. The crazies won't be able to resist the press they'll get from honking everything up.
That is a very real and entertaining possibility. I had this fantasy that 5 of the anti-Trump House Republicans made it back and held the balance of power. But sadly, there are only two of them left (Valadao in CA and Newhouse in WA).
If there is a one-seat majority for the Republicans, those two could join the House Democrats and install a RINO as speaker.
Then the fun would begin. Committee comprised of even numbers of Dems and Repubs.
Good article but equivocating MAGA GOP of today to current DEMS is off a bit.
Thanks to the Denver Police Department for bringing its special "YEEEEEHAW, MOTHERFUCKER!!!!" brand of justice to Broomfield yesterday, resulting in a crash and a shootout at one of our busier intersections. Here's hoping DPD's "fugitive unit" doesn't have
sociopathsofficers operating in your town at the moment.
