Kidding aside, we assume no tarantulas were harmed in the making of this photo.
The tarantula certainly hopes so.

I've read that animals can detect evil. It could have been a zombie movie but I believe it.
Run tarantula! Run like the wind!
The tarantula is doing the only thing it can in the face of such a threat – running away.
Seriously, though, tarantula "migration" is one of the coolest wildlife things I've witnessed.
One of these is a creepy migrating pest whose webs ensnare the unwitting, the other is a harmless native Colorado spider.
The tarantula won’t bite her. Professional courtesy. Whether she’d return the favor is unknown.
One venomous creature to another.
