Each side locked down their votes. This is a base election with indies being icing on the cake …. unless Obama again fails to show up at the next debate that is.

OFA and Obama Super PACs need to step up the collections and spending …. more attention needs to be diverted away from jobs, economy, etc…. and to stawman social issues that don’t put food on the table like abortion….can we count on you leftists to step up?

Here’s something you’re not likely to see much this campaign season: a campaign ad “truth-test” that declares the harshest accusations flat out “TRUE.”

But that’s what happened when 9News took a closer look at the damning Coors campaign ad slamming Congressman Ed Perlmutter’s record of supporting rapists’ rights.

The fact that the truth test came on right after the ad itself aired makes it even more damning for Perlmutter.

  3. “The assistance of inflation is invoked whenever a government is unwilling to increase taxation or unable to raise a loan; that is the truth of the matter.”

“It would be a serious blunder to neglect the fact that inflation also generates forces which tend toward capital consumption. One of its consequences is that it falsifies economic calculation and accounting. It produces the phenomenon of illusory or apparent profits.”

    Ludwig von Mises

    1. Slight inflation stabilizes economies, because it’s a damn sight easier to tamp inflation down than pull us out of a deflation.

Surely you and Ludwig Who? know that.

      1. Far away from Congress is the real forgotten man, the taxpayer who foots the bill. He is in a different spot from the tax-eater or the business that makes millions from spending schemes. He cannot afford to spend his time trying to oppose Federal expenditures. He has to earn his own living and carry the burden of taxes as well.

But for most beneficiaries a Federal paycheck soon becomes vital in his life. He usually will spend his full energies if necessary to hang onto this income.

      2. What slight inflation are you talking about? What stable economy are you talking about?

I doubt you even understand what inflation or deflation is.

        Wake up!

        1. All you ever write are short sentences and post links. The sort of thing that would get you an F in middle school, if you were answering a social studies essay question.

You can prove me wrong and write a couple of quick paragraphs explaining what they are and what impact they have. But I’m not going to hold my breath while I wait.

          1. Who here is in middle school?

This is the real world, not a guberment indoctrination camp called public education and you are not the teacher or principle.

            They really brainwashed you.

Go write “I will not be bad” 1000 times on the black err chalk board.

            1. Proving that you don’t understand it.

You get an F, plus an occasional reminder from me that you proved you don’t understand this topic. Sort of like my occasional reminders that you’re scared of skinny African American teenagers.

              1. And you get an F as teach, because you have not taught.

                We don’t need no education

We don’t need no thought control

No dark sarcasm in the classroom

                Teachers leave them kids alone

Hey! teachers! leave the kids alone!

All in all you’re just another brick in the wall.

All in all you’re just another brick in the wall.

                P.F.

    2. hypocrite who took the pension from the UK after the war?

I forget …but one took the UK pension- though not a Brit and one got a rich NYC patron who then spent for his every whim….which was von Mises?

    1. and shows up to express shock and dismay that mean old Joe Biden called Paul Ryan a ‘Congressman’!!  How Rude!

      Then we’ll have a threefer.

    2. Almost like an Attenborough moment

Watch them perform the morning functions and then call out in the waning darkness of dawn — calling to the void to bring attention to their presence.  Their feeble voices droning in repitition — not too inform others of anything new but rather like the grunts of feral hogs as they wallow in slop.

      1. I say exactly what I want and explain it as succinctly as possible.

It is not my fault you have been brain washed and do not comprehend even the simplest economic issues.

Inflation is not prices.Inflation is expanding monetary base in excess of demand.  Inflation is much higher than reported because CPI Is not inflation, matter of fact CPI is not anything but rubbish because you cannot gather any meaningful knowledge from averaging disparate consumer goods.

IF CPI is so awesome, then why does every liberal attempt to subvert CPI by bypassing Tabor, as Tabor is CPI?

Expanding monetary base and then giving this new money to your friends is the oldest trick in the book and the very action of Plutocracy.  Trickle down poverty. The money in your pocket is melting, unless of course you at the front of Ben Bernanke’s friend list.

A successful prosperous economy does not require a perpetually escalating money base, which serves only to bestow wealth upon a few at the expense of all others.

Most people, including those here at Cdolls and unfortunately quite a few at Colorado I.I., have no clue and merely serve to maintain status quo. The Republican Party is the other head of a 2 headed leviathan.

If you cannot comprehend what I am saying, your teachers failed you miserably. You have been neutered by design. You are now 1 of them. Who is them? The criminals.

        Ad hominem, 2 step, straw-man, et all,in 3,2,1…

        1. it’s because your English teachers failed to let you out of their classrooms with a basic understanding of composition, and because you probably never took any logic courses.

I like that you began with an ad hominem and then finish with a prediction of one, like a street punk who sucker punches someone and then doesn’t understand why his victim fights back.

          1. whatever.

You did not respond to the real issue, which is perpetually increasing monetary base.

Although you may think you are beating  me in your imaginary game of verbal Judo, the rest of the world can see exactly how pathetic Colorado Dolsters are.

Ben Bernanke and his criminal friends print money for themselves at the expense of the producer.

Inflation is 10% + annual and current unemployment is 15% +. The modern family cannot work enough hours to free themselves from your institutionalized tyranny and quest for total State dominion of the individual.

Nothing but Federal Reserve puppets, all of you.

            1. then you ought to leave us to wallow in our ignorance. We’re beyond your capable help, Nock. You’d best not waste your massive brainpower here. Maybe the geniuses at redstate would present more of an intellectual challenge to you.

(Dolster – that like the bully calling Stan Marsh “Darsh?” Oh, you’re a witty one, Nock.)

            2. there is one poster here who would appreciate a discussion with you. His name is Algernon Moncrief and he has a diary or 2 on the right side of the page

  4. who is COMPLETELY out of touch with reality.

    http://now.msn.com/romney-says

There really isn’t much to add; the story speaks for itself.

Mitt Romney riled critics today with his comments on health insurance. “We don’t have people who die because they don’t have health insurance,” Romney told The Columbus Dispatch during a Wednesday meeting. “We don’t have a setting across this country where if you don’t have health insurance, we just say to you, ‘Tough luck.’ … No, you go to the hospital, you get treated, you get care, and it’s paid for, either by charity, the government, or the hospital. We don’t have people that become ill, who die in their apartment because they don’t have insurance.” Some of the aforementioned critics pointed to a 2009 Harvard Medical School study that found nearly 45,000 American deaths a year could be linked to a lack of access to health care.

I am becoming more and more convinced that Mitt “the whirligig” Rmoney is an alien from outer space…or a robot…or SOME kind of creature that survives with no heart. Reminds me of Dick Cheney…without the snarl.

      1. … is worth a pound of cure.

In the article I read on his comments, Romney used the example of having a heart attack, and then being cared for in the ER.

As my doctor once told me, for 50% of men, your first heart attack will be your last.

I guess in GOP terms, that means “Problem Solved”
