"MyPillow Guy" All In For Ron Hanks

  • by: Colorado Pols

Following up on last week’s endorsement of CO-03 GOP candidate “Raging” Ron Hanks by former presidential candidate and anti-immigration patron saint Tom Tancredo, here’s another full-throated throwdown of support for Hanks from another individual who, while maybe not persuasive to you, carries a degree of heft in some conservative circles–“MyPillow Guy” Mike Lindell:

That’s Colorado GOP vice-chair Hope Scheppelman once again spreading the love for the party’s anointed candidate. Ron Hanks and Mike Lindell, as readers know, are both big fans and defenders of indicted former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters, and we assume that’s how they met. Hanks serves as the state GOP’s “election integrity officer,” giving Hanks a chance to continue spreading baseless claims about Colorado’s election system–resulting in a handful of county GOP chairs refusing to certify the results of last year’s elections.

The big question is whether the endorsement of “Big Pillow” will be accompanied by some of that sweet MyPillow cash, which Ron Hanks’ word-of-mouth campaign desperately needs. It’s possible that won’t be forthcoming, since Lindell’s fortunes have reportedly declined significantly since he was jetting Colorado election conspiracy theorists around the country a few years ago.

We’ll settle for a discount code on a new pair of slippers.

  1. Not that Loren had any realistic hope to start with, but this makes it official. Happy trails and fare thee well to the Hanks campaign.
