So was Peters convicted of state or federal crimes?
If elected, can Trump pardon her?
Also is there any investigation into Mr. MyPillows aiding and abetting her crimes?
After a week of sleeping with one of those fabulous pillows will Tina start naming the skeletons in her closet? (2022 article)
State
Her current invite to prison is state-based, so no pardons there. Also not much in broader charges – the state focused on the direct election integrity crimes. But there's still an outstanding FBI investigation, so there's still a chance MyPillowGuy has to trade in his pillow for jail issue.
The DA settled for charging two underlings in the office and negotiating plea deals with them and tried (and got convictions) on Tina Peters. No charges on more recent instances of Peters' contempt and violation of court orders. Nothing on Sherrona Bishop, who appears to be a kingpin in pulling people together. Nothing on Gerald Wood, who testified for the prosecution about his ID card being used without his knowledge and then had the defense show he was likely more involved (and apparently convincing the jury, as the related counts got "not guilty" verdicts). Nothing on involvement of the outside expert who apparently convinced Peters of the Big Lie. And no prosecution of Mike Lindell, who appears to be the major funder for the scheme.
Absolute silence from the FBI and US Attorney about any action at the federal level.
